well where do I start? the hotel is a Weatherspoon's hotel and that's fine the price was not to bad and rooms average. location central. but that was the best of it, the staff in hotel very abrupt at times rude, cleaners noisy chatting at top of voice, why we have a key to get in o bar when you can just follow the public in to bar I don't no. it very noisy and the bar is full of old guys talking about the war and immigration / politics etc. most the staff on bar are gay and make it a issue to let you know , now I don't mind what peoples sexuality is, but don't need to flaunt it and use vulgar words in a public area. NOT professional. food is average but its weather spoons crap.

Room Tip: any wear its all the same. AVERAGE.

Fine hotel for the price in very central location,; room (206) clean and tidy and very comfortable. Breakfast is not included, but at £4-or-so for a traditional bacon & eggs sort of meal one can't complain. The bar is a typical Wetherspoon affair, nothing flash and with some of the patrons' language sometimes rather obscene - not the place to go for a romantic or relaxing drink. Theatre Severn is ideally placed just a short stroll away, as is the town centre and its pubs and shops. Try the Bistro Jacques "French" restaurant for a meal, or the Loggerheads inn for a bit of authentic English pub scene.

Room Tip: Ask for one with a river view.....

The bedrooms are very small but the decor is very modern. The bed was comfy and the room had all the things necessary eg kettle, hairdryer etc. The bathroom was lovely and modern and unfortunately only used the shower but the bath looked a good size and very comfortable. The best part of all of it was it was clean!

We stayed for 1 night on our way to North Wales and it was good value only paying £39 for the night. The room was quite small, but fine for our one night. It was well decorated, furnished, clean and the bed was very comfortable. I would definitely stay again and recommend to our friends.
