Absolutely loved our dinner here, our favourite so far in our week in England, after two pints of the cider and our huge and delicious meal we left so full it hurt to walk lol :) the waitresses were very happy to answer our questions about the area, and full of info! Highly recommend!!!!

Been visiting the brunning and price pub/restaurants for a few years now e.g harkers in Chester and the hand and trumpet in Cheshire but the armoury just beats the others. Food service and atmosphere are brilliant here. Somehow this pub chain always manages to recruit high calibre staff as opposed to most places where kids are employed with little or no training and a bad attitude.

Well done B and P. Keep it up.

A 'child free' away day gave us the opportunity to visit Shrewsbury on the way to a wedding. After visiting the 3 Fishes real ale pub in the town we strolled down to the Victoria Quay on the Severn. Having visited one of their sister establishments there was a familiarity with the decor and organisation. It was very busy (Thursday night before the flower show) but after a brief sit at the bar sampling the selection of well kept real ale we were shown to a table. A good but thankfully not extensive list of staters and mains - we chose pâté, crab cakes, duck and pork belly. All decent, well cooked with a few 'extra' touches. Staff were very attentive, especially as it was busy. I would recommend this place for drinks, food, parties etc
