We are situated directly next door to Havana Republic bar and restaurant, and also Momo No Ki Ramen Noodle Bar. We also offer a wide selection of cakes and pastries throughout the day accompanied by a great range of coffees, teas and hot chocolate too. “Yum!”

Lovely environment, friendly staff, great service and very tasty food. Good menu with lots of choice, only disappointment was that our top choice 'piggy plate ' had run out - it looked immense!

“Cannot wait to return!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 27 August 2014

Absolutely fantastic meal. We had the early £10 evening deal. Incredible value for money, by far one of the best meals I have ever had. The staff couldn't of been more welcoming or helpful. I cannot wait to return! If I had one negative it would be the replacement of the pistachio brûlée for a banana one, the pistachio sounded like our dream desert, will have to try it next time! Thank you peach tree!

“Different presentation and very tasty food”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 25 August 2014

Came here after looking at reviews and were not disappointed by the food presentation and quality.

We had not booked and it was later in the evening than we would normally be eating dinner. It was a slightly stuttering start where we ordered drinks that took an age to arrive and then while we were discussing the menu were quite sharply told that the kitchen was closing in half an hour (when it seemingly didn't) the food and table service after made up for it.

We chose Starters of Bacon and Egg - Delicious - poached duck egg (poached to perfection) with slices of Maple glazed bacon, Hollandaise sauce and asparagus artfully arranged on a slate platter. Mezze Table - was served on a wooden Picnic table and included humus, Tabbouleh, Cous cous, Feta, olives and sundried tomato, raita. They were able to provide gluten free pittas. The humus and tabbouleh were delicious. Really nicely spiced and seasoned.

For main we had Sea Bass served on Beetroot Risotto with fried seagreens and I had Pearl Barley Risotto with squash, ramps, cauliflower and a pecorino crisp. The sea bass was expertly cooked and the beetroot risotto was excellent. The Pearl Barley Risotto was tasty too.

We were quite full by this point so we shared a desert. Pistachio Creme Brulee with Caramel Shards which was served in egg shells sat on straw. I asked for the Gluten Free option so we were given more fruit instead of the shortbread that usually accompanies it.

All the dishes were very imaginatively designed and presented and tasted great. Staff were very friendly and helpful. It was not cheap, but not too pricey either.

Inside the decor is also different, funky and modern but also using the old wooden beams. They are also connected to a sister noodle bar on one side and a bar on the other side.

“Taste & technical perfection”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 25 August 2014

Thanks once again to Martin, chef Chris & all the team at Peach Tree for a superb Saturday evening meal. This was probably the best meal yet & we feel that Peach Tree has 'stepped up' a notch further with 'fine dining' options. Chris shared some of his skills with us which were particularly fascinating eg the egg yolk on the slate plate technique & the mysterious Egyptian hummus composition.Terrific - we now have a truly 5* restaurant right in Shrewsbury at amazing prices. Why go to Birmingham or London with this on our doorstep!
