Description: Located next door to the Theatre Royal, Strada is set in the historic Beau Nash house in Bath. Perfect for pre-theatre meals and post-shopping snacks, this popular Italian restaurant chain is famous for its authentic handmade pizzas - which are cooked in a traditional forno a legna wood-fired oven – and its extensive menu of rustic, regional pastas and puddings are made using only the finest fresh ingredients such as Parma ham, extra virgin olive oil and Buffalo mozzarella imported from Italy. Perfect for business lunches and cosy evening meals, you can’t go wrong with Strada’s successful formula of simple, tasty food combined with sleek design, friendly service and a buzzy, down-to-earth atmosphere. The proof, as they say, is in the pizza.

If you're looking for a snack before the show at Theatre Royal Bath, this is a very good option. I had the gamberoni starter ~ big prawns sauteed with garlic ~ which was simple and delicious, with a glass of wine and service was prompt enough for me to decide I had time for a desert too ~ a nougat icecream served with a shot of espresso. (That's optionally for pouring over it, but the combo works just as well if you sip it...) I had three different waiters despite the brevity of my stay, but all were very pleasant and the surroundings are elegant enough to create their own ambience even early in the evening. Recommended.

We sat outside under a canopy in the sun and were attended to by two wonderful staff. One was from Spain and the other from Spain via France! Their knowledge of food coupled with their accents added a certain authenticity to the occasion. The manager was also hands-on and very helpful. The food was simply delicious. The garlic bread was the very best that we have ever had (i loved the accompanied rosemary). I had the Rossa pizza. I think that this is the tastiest pizza that i have ever had in a restaurant. My wife had the chicken and thought it superb. Moreover, the kids loved their pasta and Italian ice cream for dessert. Highly recommended.
Before i forget, the opening times outside stated that the restaurant opens at 11.30am on Saturdays. However, it didn't open till after 12 noon.

The sunshine helped as we sat outside under a canopy! The staff were incredibly attentive and knowledgeable about the menu and wine. The food was delicious! The wine was a little expensive but nice and very cold! We had crab cakes and goats cheese salad!

The restaurant is located next to a theatre and has a few outdoor tables as well as indoor. The food was well prepared and presented and the staff responded well to our individual needs, even if those were not on the menu. Friendly service and ambiance. Recommended

Visited for a family meal before going to the theatre next door. The service was very friendly and efficient - we had reserved a table but arrived early, however we were seated and served promptly without any problems. The food was excellent, with portion sizes that were just right for us, a great variety of choices and good vegetarian options. The Aglio flatbread starter was especially nice. However, the restaurant itself could have been a bit cleaner as there were stains on our table. Overall though the food and service made it a great place for a relaxed meal in a convenient and historically interesting location.
