Excellent ghost walk unfortunately we didn't see any ghost but we were told some interesting and sometimes amusing tales about Bath its history and its ghosts.

“Interesting Ghost stories of Bath”
Reviewed 4 May 2008

Having attended a similar type of tour in New Orleans, Lousiana (USA), I couldn't help but compare the two tours.

The Ghost Walk of Bath was very interesting indeed. Our guide was a very nice English gentleman with an English accent (of course, we're in England!). At times, he spoke a bit quickly and as an American, I had a difficult time understanding a few things he said. Given the nature of the walk, he was speaking at a moderate level so that it was at times, also a little hard to hear him. More so at the beginning of the walk when we were in the busy area of Bath (with people around us), then at the end when there was less outside noise.

The walk itself stops at about 5 points of interest with stories and historical information given at each one. These are quite interesting and most of the resident ghosts have been around a while. That having been said, I thought the walk was good and if you are in Bath for more than 1 night, would recommend it as a fun thing to do.

Compared to the New Orleans walk, not nearly as scary. (Dependent on what you're looking for, this could be a good thing).

1 Thank ntravinsky
