Our host at the guest house where we were staying in Bath recommended we visit this restaurant for dinner.I am soooo glad we accepted his recommendation!! We were there early on a Saturday night and they were able to accommodate us without a reservation. However, as time went on the place really filled up and was packed by the time we left. I had a delicious fish dish with potatoes and yummy sauce with grapes and my husband had pork tenderloins. We spent about 42 pounds on dinner with a couple of beers, so the price was a bit more than what we usually spend but it was so much better than the pub food we had for most of our trip. We stayed in Bath for four days and went to London for a week and this meal we had at the Marlborough Tavern was the best food we had in the UK.
