My son and I stayed in Abbey View apt, across from Three Abbey Green for 4 nights in July. We took Rick Steve's suggestion to head straight to Bath from Heathrow via bus/train via Reading so we could relax in Bath and adjust to the time change from CA. Worked out perfectly. Sue and Derrick helped us settle into our spacious apt, which was well-equipped and charming -high ceilings and tall windows. Shutters kept the space private when needed, or opened to view the cobblestone walk below, with flower baskets hanging from lamp posts - one of the many charms of Bath. The location was ideal for all sites in town. Sue helped us make reservations for a Hot Air Balloon ride with Bailey Balloons - fantastic. I had a concern about potential noise from evening revelers, but it was as quiet as Sue promised. An added bonus was hearing the wonderful bells from the Abbey for an extended period during weekly practice. A wonderful place to refresh and relax after soaking in this treasure of a town. Can't recommend it enough.

This was my second stay in the Abbey View apartment, and I wish I had an apartment as well turned out! My husband loves the in shower radio and chic kitchen, and I love the big soft bed and wonderful windows. A short to non existent walk to everything, this place is a true gem.

We stayed one night in the B & B in the Lady Hamilton room on the ground level. It was a lovely room and Sue was most helpful to us, recommending things to see and do. You are less than a minute's walk to the Roman Baths and the Bath Abbey. Breakfast was made to order and delicious. We had a car so had to park it in a long-term lot about 3 blocks away, but had no problems walking to the Abbey Green. Don't miss this special place!

Well, what can We say about our 2bdrs-2baths guest house at 4 Abbey Green next to 3 Abbey Green B&B, it was a little Gem. Best location for sightseeing, getting groceries (Marks & Spencer just around the corner) the Roman Baths and Abbey a 2 minute walk. Everything was close by - Bus tours, boutiques "talk about shopping", visits, restaurants and most of all the most comfortable beds to get a good night sleep and very quiet at night. Attention to details and every amenities you could think of. 10 minutes walk from the train station. Try out Jamie's Italian restaurant & Martini's Italian excellent food and service, loved the Cornish Pasties. Excellent base for visiting the Cotswold. We loved our stay and would recommend this property highly. Thank you Sue and all her team for their prompt personalized service.

We stayed at Four Abbey Green which is right next to Three Abbey Green and what a great location, right next to the Roman Baths, on a small quiet square. Our location was on four floors with a room for two and a bathroom on each of two floors and a kitchen and salon on one of the floors. Everything was really clean and we had all the amenities we could imagine and nicely decorated. I only wish we could have stayed more than two nights.

Room Tip: Stayed at Four Abbey Green which is nice for a familly or a small group of friends (4-5).

We have visited this wonderful guest house for some years now and are gradually working our way through the various suites and apartments, all of which are of a very high standard. On each visit we see improvements whether it be newly fitted luxury bathrooms or Derek's sister's delicious home made marmalade (we took some home with us).
The rooms are always spotlessly clean. The breakfasts are of a high standard and cooked to order.
Derek, Sue and Nicky are great hosts, its like coming to stay with family. All the staff are very friendly and helpful.
Nothing is too much trouble for them.
One of our favourite places to stay.

Located in the heart of Old Bath, we picked Three Abbey Green for it's location and because it's name sounded so charming. As soon as we drove under the arch into the Green, we knew we had hit the jackpot - there just couldn't be a more charming location in all the world. A small green with a seemingly 1000 year old tree, whose branch spread covers almost the entire square, and girded by an ancient cobblestoned road. It's absolutely beautiful.

This is not a 24/7 staffed hotel, so as we drove towards Bath from Heathrow, we kept the staff (Sue) informed of our possible arrival time, so she knew when to come over from her house (just opposite but still on the Green) and let us in. She was most congenial and not only let us in, but also showed us the rooms, turned the heaters on, and had even put a small bottle of milk in the fridge for us. A warm welcome indeed.

We had the room called Four Abbey Green, which turned out to be not just a suite, but a whole 4 storey Georgian house, next door to Three Abbey Green. So for 2 days we felt like such locals, letting ourselves in and out of our little house between outings.

The house was clean and pristine, well-appointed with almost everything you would need, including washing machine and laundry detergent, and all necessary utensils in the kitchen (all new nothing second-hand). It's a home away from home, and I would highly recommend it to anyone who is a party of four (2 bedrooms).

It's literally a stone's throw from the Baths, and the Pump Room, and the Abbey, and no more than a 5 minute walk from the railway station.
