I stayed in the Westwood Suite for one night with two friends. The location of this B&B was perfect, set in an adorable little pedestrian square right next to the Abbey and the Roman Baths. Parking was available about two blocks away in a public lot for £12 a day. The people who ran the place were perfectly pleasant and suggested a great pub. Breakfast ended really early, so we felt pretty rushed in the morning, but the food was good. The room itself was lovely, the 17th century house has been modernized well, but the location of the particular room we stayed in right next to the front door left us open to a fair amount of street noise from people walking by with our window right at their eye level (some tour groups waved at us).

Room Tip: Westwood Suite comfortably sleeps 3, but street level window facing the square may let in too much s...

I'm glad to hear you found our location so convenient; we really are right in the heart of the city. Of course this can mean being subject to some disturbance from pedestrian traffic outside, though we have done our best to mitigate this by fitting voile curtains in ground floor rooms and providing earplugs in case of noise. I'm sorry to hear our breakfast times left you feeling rushed. We try to be as flexible as possible and will always listen to requests and concerns. We enjoy getting to know our guests in person and like to provide recommendations for restaurants and activities, in order to help you get the most out of your time in our beautiful city.

We stayed for two nights for a birthday treat. we received a really friendly welcome from the owners. Abbey Green is a great location for visiting the many sights of Bath. With the super breakfasts and comfortable room we wish we could have stayed longer! Even the weather was great! We'd certainly recommend this B&B to anyone.

Thanks for your lovely review - I'm afraid we can't take credit for the amazing weather, though it has been a welcome change! It's great to hear that we helped make your birthday getaway special and we'd love to have you back for a longer stay next time.

Stayed in this beautiful B&B for 2 nights with my wife. The service we received was exemplary. Firstly, we were unsure when we would arrive (but definitely after the official check in times) and were assured that someone would stay on late to get us settled in. The room was amazing - and the location even more so. The recommendations given by Nici for eating out and visiting the Roman Baths at twilight were spot on. Breakfast was a pleasure every morning, with Sue and her staff happy to help in any way. And it is little things that make all the difference, like realising the weather was going to be very hot, so providing complementary bottles of water for guests to take with them on their days sightseeing. Every hotel/B&B will offer a room to sleep in, but it is service like this that makes a B&B special and we will be back next year.

Wow, what an amazing review, thank you! We're thrilled to have made such a positive contribution to your time in Bath. We believe it makes a huge difference to sit down and have a proper face to face chat when you arrive, so we always do our best to check guests in personally, even out of hours. It will be lovely to see you again next year!

I stayed for two nights with my wife and 12 yo daughter for two nights. The B&B in right in the heart of Bath (less than a minute from the Roman bath and Abbey). It is a historic building, beautifully restored. Our room was huge, well laid out and of an exceptional standard. Our hosts were wonderful and breakfast was excellent. Don't be put off by the warnings about parking, the council car park is only a two minute walk away.

From the minute we walked through the door, having walked an easy 8 minutes from the railway station, Sue met us and made us feel extremely welcome. Having shown us to our spacious, comfortable and luxurious room, she then proceeded to explain where the good places to eat were situated and could not have been any more helpful. The room had a fantastic, large, modern bathroom. As we were 4 "ladies" having our yearly reunion (having been at uni together 27 years ago), the room was exactly what we required at an amazing price. Everthing was a very easy walking distance, 15 minutes was the furthest we had to walk. The abbey was literally 2 minutes away. I could not recommend this B and B enough. The only negative point was the outside noise due to a hen group continuing their late night party on the green outside, but nothing that the B and B could do (ear plugs were placed in the room!) Breakfast was all locally sourced and DELICIOUS. We will certainly be returning with different members of our respective families in the future.

We could not have chosen a better place to stay in Bath. Our accommodations were excellent as well as the hosts. The location is perfect and centrally located in town just across from the Bath Abbey and near the Roman Baths. A full english breakfast with a breakfast bar for extra items such as fruit, home made jams and fresh organic juice was available daily. The fresh organic apple juice was the best I have ever had. Breakfast was superb and made to order with vegetarian options if desired. We stayed in the Plain Tree room that was larger than expected and accommodated up to 3 people. Prior to our trip the host provided excellent advice on means of travel from Heathrow to Bath, which we used their advice for private car pick up that was well worth it.
We would definitely stay here again.

We stayed three nights in June and have only good things to say about this B&B. The family owner-managers could not have been more helpful. The room was very comfortable & overlooked the small and generally quiet green in front of the B&B. As noted by others, this B&B is located near the center of everything in Bath, and only a short walk from the bus station (we came in by bus). The breakfasts were excellent. Altogether a great experience!
