“Loved 3 Abbey Green,Bath,England”
Reviewed 9 July 2008

I stayed their on 8th July 2008 for a brief visit to Bath with my wife. Abbey green is more an upmarket B/B as it doesnt do meals or food except an excellent breakfast. Its centrally located in Bath, right around the corner from the Roman Baths and the Pump Rooms. The room we had was excellent though Bath prices can be a little on the high side.Unfortunatley no parking at the venue but the owners will advise best places to park your car.
Disabled persons should check with the owners facilities as there are 3 floors to the place.Eating places can be recommended by the owners but an excellent vegetarian restaurant to try would be Demuths literally 20 paces fro the B/B.Excellent service and an superb menue at quite resanonable prices.Best vegi i have been in for a long time. Also does vegan food if your into that style of cooking.Good wine list as well.

consider their self catering flats. Take a stroll, eat great food, listen to even song in the Abbey -- and stop back at your own place for tea or toast with champagne. We did both celebrating our 40th anniversary. I highly recommend it

This is an absolutely terrific place! When we first arrived, Sue sat us down, encouraged us to relax, and ran through a number of options for evening meals, entertainment, and the like. She then took us up to the room, which was large, light, and airy. During our stay there, everyone was as friendly and helpful as one could wish. The extremely tasty breakfasts were made to order, tailored to each guest's preference. We had been traveling for almost 3 weeks by the time we got to Bath, and during that time we had stayed in some marvelous places. 3 Abbey Green, however, was my daughter's absolute favorite--she didn't want to go! Thanks for a wonderful stay! Robin and Anna

Our five night stay was ful of wonderful suprises. The first wonderful surprise was the locationk right in the middle of the action, but secluded from the traffic of cars and people. It couldn't be better. The second wonderful suprise was the personal attention received from Sue, Derek & Nicci. They were great, helpful when needed but giving us the privacy of a hotel. Perfect Combination. The third great surprise where the rooms, they were large and very comfortable. I loved them. Overall our experience couldn't have been better. I recommend the accomodations to anyone.

Four nights as guests of Sue, Derek and Nicci were a delight. The gracious owners provide hospitality with a capital "aitch". When the previous guests had damaged our scheduled suite, we were given the option to move into one of the apartment units which they maintain a block away. Breakfasts were delicious. Rooms and public areas were very clean. Sue was always helpful with advice and tips on restaurants and other tourist logistics. The lodging is very handy being situated several blocks from the train and bus stations and one block from the baths and Abbey church. We hope to return soon.

The apartment is fantastic - great location - all rooms and facilities are top notch, and the kitchen gadgets are redolent of the Jetsons. Very strongly recommended - I know our friends who had rooms at Three very much enjoyed their stay too.

We enjoyed our stay at the Three Abbey Green. The room was large and comfortable and the location was fabulous for the town of Bath. They thought about the potential noise in the room and provided ear plugs, which was thoughtful. The bathroom was not too modern, but it had the amenities we needed.

Breakfast was good, with a little menu so that everyone had what they wanted to have.
