We stayed in the Jane Austin wing. The room was beautiful. The cleanliness, room facilities, modern bathroom (albeit separate) and everything about this place from Allan's welcome to the breakfast service showed that these hosts are very experienced and deliver a very high quality product. They know what they are doing and do it very well. Top location...but do not attempt to find this place by car.

Leave your car at the first car park you find and walk in. Bath is not a car city, pedestrians ignore any traffic lights and walk across red lights, sat navs don't work too well. The one way road system will just have you doing laps of the city. If you park in the city council carparks, download the app and you can extend your stay as required, its quite good.

The free city walking tour leaves from nearby at the roman baths and is excellent. Lovely place.

Thank you for your review; it's always pleasing to hear we are doing a good job! Great tips for drivers coming to stay - you're right that Bath is far from being the most car-friendly city. I'm glad the travails of the one-way system didn't spoil the enjoyment of your stay.

Bath is one of my most favourite places to visit and as it was my Birthday we decided to treat ourselves to a trip there and we loved it so much.......

Our room was HUGE but still cosy we stayed in Sycamore room on the Second floor with a lovely view over the green. I would say this is one of the best B and B's we have ever stayed in. Its location is just fantastic a stones throw away from all the main sites. I have been to Bath many times and my partner has never been and he was thrilled with the location he was surprised we got such a good deal for such a fantastic place.

I find it hard to relax but I was chilled out as soon I we arrived. Our hosts couldn't have been better great tips where to eat and get the best deals.

Breakfast is top notch all local products home made jams we brilliant!!!! There is nothing you couldn't ask for.

I know that we will be coming back to stay here again.

Thanks for a great trip

This is an amazing place to stay in Bath. Everything from the spacious room to the unbeatable location. From the moment you walk in the door, you are welcomed like family. The owners did an exceptional job at making you feel at home and were helpful with recommendations to restaurants, "local" activities, and information on Bath and the surrounding area. Everything was perfect from the breakfast, to the rooms, which were very clean, tidy, and beautiful! Overall, they delivered in every way and I would recommend this location to anyone! We absolutely loved our stay!

Just wanted to say Thanks you! We had a beautiful stay with you as part of our 9 week trip around Europe and the UK. Everything was just perfect and we could not have wanted for anything more. If we inquired about something it was promptly sorted or answered. Rooms were just beautiful and clean.

Thanks you

The B&B was charming and relaxing. It was a good fit for us to get over some jet lag and see some easy to walk to sites. Great central location. Only one draw back was there was some noise in the night when people were walking home from the pubs. Comfortable, great bathrooms. The proprietor, Allan, was friendly and helpful. We loved our stay.

I'm so pleased that you enjoyed your stay. Jet lag can be a real pain so it's important to be gentle with yourself at the beginning of a trip. I'm sorry to hear that you were disturbed by outside noise - we're aware this can be an occasional downside to our central location, which is why we provide ear plugs to give you that extra layer of insulation from the outside world. Thanks for your review!

I planned an overnight for myself and my parents to Bath during our trip to London and wanted to make sure they had a really lovely experience full of charm and elegance. Three Abbey Green delivered in every way. The location is excellent- an easy ten minute walk from the train station and a stones throw away from the Abbey and the Roman Baths, but since it is tucked away in a little green, it felt private and was calm and quiet. We were within easy walking distance to everything you'd want to see and many great restaurants, so in terms of location, it can't be beat. My parents stayed in The Lord Nelson room in the main building - classy, spacious, and very comfortable. I chose the Elinor Dashwood room in the adjacent building The Jane Austen wing) and it was utterly charming with everything you need. Both rooms overlooked the green. Sue and the entire staff are welcoming, full of recommendations and useful tips for local family-owned places to eat, and make coming and going quite easy. Our breakfast the next morning was soooo good. We each had the full English breakfast, and it was done perfectly- all the food is either homemade (including the marmalade and rhubarb jam! And the hand pressed apple juice!) and the ingredients are locally sourced with care and attention. Our only regret, truly, was that we couldn't stay longer. It was clear many others there were repeat customers, and I would absolutely stay there again if I can get back to Bath. I also appreciated that there were rates for single occupancy, which is not always the case. All in all, this fulfilled all our needs and expectations and then some!

It's lovely to hear that you and your parents enjoyed your stay with us; thank you for taking the time to review. We try to be as flexible as possible when it comes to accommodating families and groups, whether sharing a large room like the Asher Suite or taking the multiple-room option as you did - everyone's preferences and requirements are different. We just returned from a trip to England and had the pleasant experience of staying at Three Abbey Green in Bath! We couldn't have picked a nicer place to stay! The proprietress, Sue, was beyond friendly and helpful, the room was large, cozy and clean, the location was superb, and the breakfast that was included was large, fresh and yummy! We highly recommend this hotel and once there, Sue will set you up with reservations for restaurants, discounts to attractions and she'll make you feel so welcome! A tip if you plan to go to Stonehenge and if you are comfortable driving on the opposite side of the road, make reservations to visit the "inner circle" of Stonehenge...it's well worth it for an inside view of this incredible wonder!
