Very warm welcome from Alison and Ian when we arrived.
The room was spacious and well decorated as was the rest of the house. Really enjoyed the cooked breakfast and muesli in the morning.
For dinner we took a 5 minute walk to the Cross Keys pub which has fantastic food and large portions!
I would recommend this charming B&B to anyone looking to visit Bath.

We have stayed for 2 short breaks and love this very welcoming B&B. Our hosts Ian and Ali were very helpful and accommodating and genuinely want to ensure you have have a good stay. the rooms are large, well appointed, beautifully clean with comfortable beds.
Good off road parking plus a good bus route to the City of Bath which is nearby.
the cross keys pub is a five minute walk and is a traditional pub with non pretentious, wonderfully home cooked food with homemade puds including traditional puddings to die for!
If you are travelling from abroad and want a high quality bed and breakfast with nearby English pub at a reasonable price then look no further.
A stay is not complete without a tummy rub for the lovely retriever, Rufus, who is unobtrusively accommodated in the conservatory so you can avoid him if you are not a doggy fan.
we will be back!

Room Tip: The largest room with wonderful views and double shower is superb but we have stayed in all but one...

Lovely room, was extremely quiet, you didn't even know you were near a main road. Breakfast was lovely and just enough, plent on offer. We were made to feel very welcome and would stay again if we go to Bath again. There is a pub just up the road from High Beeches which is walkable and serves lovely food.

I have been staying here at High Beeches for the past 3 years, every summer when I return from Shanghai to visit friends and family...and I wouldn't stay anywhere else! It is THE place to stay in Bath and you will feel so welcome and at home the minute you step through the front door. Ali and Ian are the most incredible hosts and such warm, kind, generous people who are doing the most fantastic job running this B&B. I always stay in room 4 which feels like my second bedroom now, it is quiet, warm and the bed is unbelievably comfortable! Breakfast is scrumptious and they provide the perfect selection of choice. I always opt to walk down to the town centre which takes no time at all! High beeches would not be the same without Rufus the golden retriever who, if he was half the size, would be packed off with me back to shanghai if I had it my way! :)
What a gem High Beeches is, you would be silly to miss a stay here! My best advice to anyone would be don't bother visiting Bath unless you are booked in at High Beeches! 5 stars all round!

From booking onwards the experience of High Beeches was excellent. I'm so glad we did not opt for one of the central, corporate type hotels in the centre of town. We enjoyed a lovely spacious and well appointed bedroom, equal to what I'm sure would have been termed as a ' junior suite' in a hotel! The big difference being the attention to detail and personal service we had from Ian and Alison ( Ian even ran us into town in the evening, but don't tell everyone as I'm sure he wouldn't want to do it every night!) our stay was completed with a delicious full English breakfast . Look forward to a return visit.

Room Tip: I believe there are just 3 bedrooms at High Beeches and I'm sure all are a good quality. We had...

We stayed at High Beeches during our small 3 day trip to Bath - our son had just been born, and we needed a little getaway to just give us some family time together... and this guest house pulled out all the stops to ensure that we could just relax and enjoy ourselves.

We called before booking to ensure that we could bring our son, as some guest houses had been a little funny with us, however we found a home from home - thank you Ian and Alison for your hospitality.

Thankfully our little one behaved himself, to the extent that the other guests were unaware that we had an additional family member, to much relief.
