Nice stay, great location and easy to find. Lovely welcome. 40 min walk into town was ideal. Room was clean and tidy.. little bit of tlc needed, and would have liked sausages on the breakfast menu, but offered good value a warm welcome and we would stay again for sure.
Tips for other travellers
Graze.. near the station.. good food and a nice atmosphere on a matchday.

The welcome was lovely, the furnishings in our room were gorgeous and the sleep great. Only downside was being a bit further out of Bath than we had thought, but that was our error. Taxis came when ordered so that problem was solved. Breakfast was well cooked and served. One big bonus was fresh milk for our in room tea and coffee - great!
All you could wish from a small B&B.

High Beeches offered superb accommodation with charming owners including loveable Rufus the dog. This really was the most friendly and delightful place we have stayed at in exquisite surroundings. We enjoyed a delicious meal at The Stag at nearby Hinton Charterhouse and The George in Bathampton. The circular walk round Southstoke village enjoys stunning views. We drove up to Alexandra Park near Bearflat to see the magnificent views of the city. Well worth the visit.

Room Tip: We had a Deluxe Double room with a view overlooking the Midford valley. Would choose this room when...

Emma our host, while the owners were away was very pleasant.,she brought gluten free bread for my wife..nice setting, building room.nice cooked breakfasts.

the only downside was booking the most expensive deluxe room, The mattress was very worn out. with a big uncomfortable dip in it ,the bathroom only two of the four lights worked two rusty ones and it could do with a paint a bit moldy around the ceiling edge. i would not have mentioned these points other than we did pay the top room price . other than that thank-you regards Mr David whiting..

Very surprised to read this as we were away & Emma was running things.
Firstly David you booked the Luxury Double Room ( not deluxe) on a 3-2 deal at a total cost for 3 nights of of £230.This works out at £76.66 per night including cooked breakfast and free parking in the best room we have ! How can this be the top room price exactly ? Our normal rate can be as high as £115 for this room. You got an amazing deal here with us as you agreed at the time of booking ?
We have had no complaints about the bed or mattress ever & fail to understand this point. In fact quite the oppposite .You never mentioned anything to Emma on this either & said everything was perfect ,
The light bulbs have now been replaced and small marks on the chrome removed as with any black patch on ceiling caused by the steam from shower . As we were away this did lapse perhaps & we apologise for this.

we stayed here for 2 nights, the owners were away so Emma was our host for the weekend. Emma was very friendly & helpful. The B&B is beautiful, great room (deluxe double) with a lovely view and comfortable bed, with the best cooked breakfast! had a lovely meal at the Cross Keys Pub which is a 2 minute walk away.

Beautiful room, pleasant location, and tasty breakfast. Not sure about the 'no shoes policy' but this didn't effect a short but enjoyable stay. Overall a lovely B&B with great attention to detail from hosts.

We received a warm welcome from Emma despite arriving late at night due to problems on motorway. Room was comfortable, warm duvet and tea/coffee making facilities in room. Tastefully furnished in English country style. Lovely cooked breakfast next morning. Plenty of good pubs nearby. Host has left sample menus in room.
