My wife and I were to stay in the Garden Studio owned by the same person but maintenance work in the garden meant we were offered this apartment for the same price instead.

We both loved it, great views of the city, 2 mins walk to the centre, very clean with loads of sofa and dining space, fully equipped kitchen, DVD player, freeview , free wifi.

Would 100% stay again and ideal for a couple with a young family - secure free car parking also

On arrival to collect the keys we were informed the lift was out of order, being 6 flights or stairs(3 floors) and a family member withbad knees this was not a good start to our stay. Worse still we were informed the lift had only been out of order for aday ad expected to be fixed the following day. Upon speaking to a permanent resident in the aprtments this turned out to be untrue and the lift had been out of rder sometime. When we departed 4 days later the lift was stillout of order and this meant limited mobility for the whole family.
On entry the apartment seemed nice enough, spacious and with all amenities expected, however on closer inspection linen on beds were stained and the cleanliness was poor with dust on all surfaces.

Finaly we were let down on the last night, the oven was not working, until then we had only used the grill, we had bought a lot of food to cook but ended up having to go out to eat as th fan oven would not work.

The apartment is in a good location on a busy road with constant police and ambulance sirens, but with a working lift, not that we had one, would have been ideal for a short wa into bath.

Customer service from the owner has been shocking and tgeir final offer is £35 refund andperhaps more worryingly they kept hold of my card details and decided to play fund and refund with my bank account at their own will.
