We stumbled on this little gem set in the heart of bath last night whilst looking for a resturant with a courtyard since the weather was lovely and wow how surprised we were. Fantastic quality and real taste, cant remember the last time we both tasted quality food for a meager £20 each...main courses from £7.50 in Bath .... cant believe we have never heard of this bistro before.
Very friendly and courteous service from the owner and chef.....give it a try sure you wont be diasappointed !!

Maybe the big chains that charge twice as much for boil in the bag food should take note, this is how food should be offered...

A complete surprise to find this food oasis in the heart of Bath. Fantatsic cuisine, serving superb qulity french tacos, great value. We had our meal outside in the garden courtyard served by friendly, enthusiastic staff and will definitely be going back.

I came here for dinner on Saturday evening with my (well behaved) child. We had looked up the restaurant online first, to check that children were welcome and indeed they are. The staff were fabulous with her - and me, for that matter. We were both well looked after. The entire petit plats menu sounded delicious so we shall definitely have to return to try the dishes we didn't have this time. Of the dishes we tried, it would be hard to name a favourite, but if pushed, I'd say the roll mops and the tomato salad. And the creme brulee finish was a hit! I would normally have paid more attention to the wine list, but being out for dinner with a young person, I just had one glass of white wine and unfortunately don't recall what it was. But it was extremely drinkable and refreshing. I plan to return as soon as I have the opportunity, and wouldn't hesitate to recommend this Bistro to anyone looking for an enjoyable dinner in a relaxed, but very ambient setting.

We went to this restaurant for an early dinner. We shared five petit plats (two of the specials) and two sides between us. Everything was quite nice although the stuffed mushroom from the specials menu was clearly the standout item. The apple tart tatin with cinnamon cream dessert was also very good. The coffee was hotter than the sun and took a while to cool down to drinking temperature.

The staff were friendly although we had to ask for water for the table twice.

A pleasant, informal dinner out.

Near perfect pre theatre dining spot. Great value early menu. Missing the defunct one formally in Bristol.
