Delicious fresh food - in my case a goats cheese salad full of many goodies and beautifully balanced flavours. The view of the wier and across to the gardens is delightful. Service is excellent

The Riverside Café is tucked in a corner beside the water at Pulteney Bridge. It's a tight squeeze, but the view is wonderful for refreshments at an outside table in the summer sun.

The first thing I noticed was how warm, welcoming, polite and helpful the staff were. The food was sooo tasty, freshly cooked beautifully presented and delicious! We both had Eggs Benedict and will definitely return. There are a few small tables outside - if the weather is fair there is a nice relaxing view of the river. From the outside I wasn't expecting such great food and service, it could probably do with a smarten up. Inside I could see families with young children eating and outside couples. I will definitely be back.

We enjoyed a casual lunch at the Riverside Cafe. The grilled goats cheese was fabulous. The service was prompt and cheerful and the atmosphere cozy. I'm glad we wandered outside the city center to find this cafe.

Small but perfectly form little café with shabby chic feel is highly recommended for those lazy mornings when you only need delicious breakfast with the most amazing riverside view to make you a happy person. Good prices and very welcoming staff.
