“best pizza ever”
Reviewed 3 July 2014

I go here often with my family but on this occasion I went with 2 friends. We had the Antipasti for starter which was amazing (quality and quantity) and then each had different pizzas. They were all delicious. the restaurant is not expensive and they take any vouchers(on apps or paper) and discount cards. we will definitely be going back again soon.

“Yum Yum”
Reviewed 2 July 2014

Its the long queues that probably got our attention. Its a small shop but thankfully the lines moved fast and we got ourselves a choice of flavours which we ate as we strolled along historic Bath.

I say there are several ice cream places in the city but this place is good, yummy, good choice of flavours and you will not be disappointed.

“No ability to manage customers’ expectations”
Reviewed 1 July 2014

We like to support independent restaurants. However, we did not manage to eat here as, after an hour and twenty minutes post ordering 2 pizzas, the food still hadn’t arrived and we had an appointment so could not wait any longer. The restaurant was not at all busy and, unfortunately, we were not the only people who had to leave without eating. We were told that the delay was due to an issue in the kitchen but, this being the case, good customer service dictates that patrons be informed of this when they arrive or as soon as the issue occurs, the courtesy of which was not extended to us. Of note, however, the ‘issue in the kitchen’ did not prevent later arriving tables being served before us, although a table of 6 received pizzas two at a time over a 15 minute period so whilst they did manage to eat, they did not have the pleasure of all eating together. That said, the few pizzas that we did see being served looked nice but it is the overall 'package' that counts.

I am sorry to hear you had such a bad experience at our restaurant.
The issue in the kitchen on the evening of your visit was that one of the chefs cut himself rather badly and therefore we lost a chef and a member of the floor team (who accompanied the chef to the hospital) for the evening.
We managed to get the restaurant back on track by later in the evening but unfortunately there was an amount of confusion and delays immediately following the incident.
