Description: The Kingsmead Kitchen is a vibrant and friendly family run restaurant in the beautiful city of Bath. Positioned on the West side of Kingsmead Square, a stones throw from the fantastic shopping and theatre districts of Bath, the cafe has a sunny outlook over the square and customers can enjoy the bright interior or sit outside to soak up the hustle and bustle. We are well known for our generous helpings and freshly cooked food. Our menus change regularly and always include seasonal produce, some of which comes directly from Elcombe Farm, our family farm in Wiltshire. Recently, the cafe has undergone some exciting changes and there is much more planned for the future. Co-owners and managers extraordinaire Edi and Geraldine bring a spark and energy to the front of house, head chef Dan oversees the kitchen with gusto, whilst Piers and Sophia are the driving force behind the Field, Fire & Feast brand. All of us welcome you to the cafe and hope you enjoy it.

“Great breakfast and evening meal.”
Reviewed 27 May 2014 via mobile

When visiting Bath tend to always have breakfast at the Jazz Cafe. Never been disappointed with the food or service. The coffee is one of the best in Bath.
For the first time had evening meal here, Chilli beef, expecially excellent. Service very good with attentive staff.
Don't be put off by Jazz Cafe size as it punches well above its weight when compared to some larger estabishment in Bath. Give this place a try.

“Lovely food”

We managed to get a table outside on the rather hot Saturday. We enjoyed the food and drink so much we kept ordering more things. The staff were very friendly and attentive.

“Lovely well priced food, if a little snug!”
Reviewed 6 May 2014

The food comes in very good portion sizes and the brownie with walnuts was amazing! The staff were friendly (although one of them was a little confused) and other than being a bit squashed in, it's a lovely place to eat.

“Delicious mezze. Friendly service.”
Reviewed 6 May 2014

We were looking for a light lunch and considered the Boston Tea Party but their kitchen was closed and we noticed the Jazz Cafe just a few metres further on. I'm glad the BTP kitchen was closed. We chose the special mezze on offer that day; beetroot & walnut dip, tzatziki, roast butternut squash dip with pitta bread and salad. Rather delicious and pleasantly washed down with a glass of house wine. We'll remember this for our next trip to Bath.
