Went there for a dinner one night while staying in Bath. Very good food, good service and a good atmosphere. Ordered the burger for dinner and it was a really good burger, probably one of the better burgers I had. However the portion of chips was very small. I was still full afterwards but could of used some more fries.

Popped in here for a drink. I did not try the food, however the prices on the menu looked more affordable than many other pubs in the area.
In terms of drinks, it's true, they don't have many cheap options from generic alternatives. They focus on quality ales and ciders, and that's exactly what I look for in a pub. Unique or artisan drafts is my thing, and this pub does that very well. The selection of ciders is particularly exquisite.
The premises are very clean, the music was nice and relaxing and the drinks supreme. Will visit again.

My girlfriend and I thought this would be a great little place to have Sunday lunch in the middle of Bath. The place was quite busy and we were told our food would be ready in half an hour so we waited....and waited.....and waited. After about 45 minutes we asked the waiter where our food was. He was extremely polite and very apologetic as it seemed there had been a mix up in the kitchen. We were offered free drinks and free dessert as we continued to wait. Our food didn't arrive until over an hour and a half after we ordered and when it did, it was really cold and not very well cooked, (they had also ran out of parsnips). We aren't the fussiest of eaters but after waiting for that long, the least we could expect was a decent meal and this was not one. We gave the food back and were given a full refund and promptly left to get a quick sandwich as we were starving at this point. The staff were friendly and sympathetic but this pub was a waste of our precious time in Bath and we will not be going back.

It was in the heart of the museum area. Simple pub but very friendly staff serving delicious food at an excellent price.
Even the cheap wine tasted very nice.

This pub was really light & airy inside, suitable for pretty much anyone who wants a drink & a lunchtime meal. The food was nice although there could have been more chips with the burger!
