Went here late in the evening after a horrible hotel experience and asked if there were any vacancies. The help we got was exceptional. Though squeezed they got us rooms for the whole stay in Bath and arrange for luggage pic up and everything. Got the de lux room and even though there was no air condition the spacious room an open window and a fan did the trick. The service was superb with staff of high professional integrity. Loved, loved, loved the garden. The hospitality changed our whole Bath experience and we will be back

The quality of everything in this hotel is quite outstanding- food, ambience, service, etc.. My only complaints are that our bedroom was too hot, but it was an incredibly hot weekend and nothing short of airconditioning could have solved our problem. We hated the duvets but they were immediately removed on request and replaced with sheets and blankets as we always prefer wherever we go. My only other complaint - or rather my wife's - was that we couldn't get BBC1 on the television set! Putting all this is perspective, however, we had a very enjoyable stay and would not hesitate to recommend the Queensberry to others.

Beautiful city, lovely hotel, staff were very attentive. Location was excellent, a very short and picturesque walk from the centre of Bath. Room was classy. All in all a really lovely place to stay. Would definitely go again.

Nicely designed hotel in a great location. The staff are freiendly and try to help but it stops there!

No air conditioning in the rooms, rooms are really warm at night during the summer. Noise levels in the rooms are beyond anyone's pain threshold. You can hear every single word beeing said in the bar downstairs. And when the bar is closed the seagulls provid with entertainment all night long.

If beeing able to sleep at night is NOT wht you are looking for, then this is the right hotel for you!!

I was bought a trip to the Queensbury as a surprise by my boyfriend and I don't have the words to describe what a nice time we had. The staff are fantastic, especially in the restaurant. More on the restaurant to come... Check in was efficient and there was someone to take bags to the room. The car was parked for us (at a reasonable extra charge), the hotel has free tea and coffee available in the lounge area (of which there are three) all day, and a 24 hour bar.
The rooms are individual, quirky and spacious, with ours having a large comfortable bed and luxurious marble bathroom. The one and only negative aspect is that the rooms are not air conditioned and we stayed during very un-British weather (exceptionally hot) and were a tiny bit uncomfortable. Although to be fair; the staff did everything they could including providing us with a large jug of iced water and a fan. The shower in our room (room 16) was lovely, with a big and powerful head and the bath is huge. Some basic toiletries were provided and were of very good quality.
We went for cocktails in the bar area and sat outside on the pretty terrace, which is secluded and quiet despite being in a city centre. The terrace was sunny and comfortable, and the bar staff don't mess about when measuring the alcoholic content of the cocktails (only took me two to get a bit happy)... And after that we moved on to the Queensburys in house restaurant "The Olive Tree". THIS IS A MUST DO PART OF STAYING AT THE QUEENSBURY. I cannot stress enough how good the food, the service and the whole experience was. Having lived in London and Paris and eaten at some of the worlds finest restaurants, I can honestly say I have never eaten food as well sourced, presented and cooked at (relatively) low prices. Bath is a beautiful city with lots to see and do and a friendly, creative ambiance.
The whole experience was second to none and I will most definitely be returning to eat and stay with The Queensbury. Thank you all for a lovey time.

Room Tip: Ask for a room at the back and do try and fit in at least one cocktail from The Q Bar!

Fantastic hotel, very friendly staff, large room, the bed was very comfortable and the hotel was very clean. Breakfast in the Olive room was a real treat, very nice food, service was very good. The only critiscism I could levy would be better wifi access in the rooms but that is a minor. The location is very convenient, a short walk to the shops, parks and the river. The valet parking for £5 was very good, the car was fetched within 10 minutes on request.

A birthday treat at the Queensberry and it really was first class. Smooth check-in, room was ready early - fantastic size room (deluxe), very comfortable bed and everything else you could want; even a fan for this very hot weather. Very quiet and relaxing, not formal. Breakfast was of excellent quality as was the service. Only a short walk in to the centre of Bath so once the hotel had parked our car that was it! A definate returner for us - not cheap, but worth it!

Room Tip: We chose a deluxe room and even though it was at the front of the hotel it was extremely quiet and p...
