A wonderful place to celebrate a special occasion, or just for a weekend. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and dealt with our group of 7 with charm, courtesy and smiles! We had three bedrooms and all were large, quiet (at the back of the hotel), clean and very comfortably furnished. The one thing that prevented me giving this an "excellent" rating was the lack of tea and coffee making facilities in the bedrooms, although complimentary refreshments were available in the hotel lounge morning and afternoon. The Olive Tree restaurant was pricey but the food was superb.

My boyfriend and I (both in our mid twenties) stayed at the Queensberry for one night as a treat for our anniversary.

Being a total "trip advisor junkie" I checked out all the reviews before booking, and the hotel sounded wonderful. The hotel website was also impressive, so we decided on a double superior (£145), we also made a dinner reservation in the Olive Tree resaurant ( belonging to Queensberry).

The valet parking was great, just double park in the street and they park it for you! The hotel reception was lovely and warm, although not particularly impressive, just a little hallway really.
We were shown to our room immediately (room 27). It was, again, warm and cosy, although alot smaller than it looked on the website. The bathroom however was HUGE!!!!!! Gorgeous cream marble tiles, plenty of fluffy towels and two robes (one of which had a long black hair on it......eugh!!!...............but other than that it looked and smellt clean)! The shower was really hot and powerfull which was great!

We spent the day in the Therme Spa (which was nice, but packed and abit leasure center-ish). Then returned to the hotel for dinner.

The olive tree restaurant is GORGEOUS, abit pricey (£120 2 people, 3 courses, 2 bottles house red), but really intimate, great service, yummy food so well worth it!!!

In the morning we woke up cravin a nice cuppa, but no tea of coffie making facitities in the room, something you would expect in a hotel of this standard. We skipped the Olive tree breakfast (£20 per person) and headed into town instead where theres tones of lovely places to grab breakfast (we went to cafe rouge.....yummy pastries!).

On the whole we really enjoyed ourselves, and would definately recommend this hotel, just dont expect anything too grand, we've stayed in nicer hotels for less money!

This is a great hotel for a stay in Bath. We had a room on the 3rd floor. It was clean, tidy and very well decorated. The staff were very friendly and efficient. The only downside which is not the hotels fault was the noise from the street outside. Our room had no air -con which wasn't a problem in November. But we choose to have the windows open a little. Our sleep was disturbed by people shouting and talking outside into the early hours. Next time we will visit and request a room over looking the gardens.

I found the Queensberry on the Mr and Mrs Smith website. This site is excellent to find independant romantic boutique hotels on but I always then book direct with the hotel. I can say, from the three I have stayed in so far, they all have an X factor that makes them special. Having then read the reviews on the Queensberry here it was a no brainer. I went to celebrate my 50th with 10 other friends on the weekend of 24th and 25th October and all of us were unanimous in our conclusion that The Queensberry is peerless. What makes it so good is a combination of: location - 5 minutes from the shops and all the other major attractions of Bath; the friendly helpful staff - nothing is too much trouble for them; the rooms - extremely well appointed and very comfortable; the decor - modern but very sympathetic to the Georgian architecture and finally the food and service of the restaurant - The Olive Tree really does deserve a Michelin star. The flavour combinations of seasonal and local produce along with the presentation is quite simply awesome. A big thank you to all the staff at The Queensberry to help soften the blow of turning 50! We'll definately be back!

Located right in the middle of Bath the Queensberry is just a little up the hill, real close to sights like the Royal Crescent and the Circus. Not obviously a Design Hotel at first glance from the outside, the Queensbury does not leave a doubt about it's qualities when it comes to style once entered. The Queensberry style is modern, but only to the extent that it does not start making you feel uncomfortable.

Queensberry's staff is very kind and obliging, almost anxious about having the guest feel comfortable - still they are very decent. They mean it. Example: The hotel does not have a parking lot & parking space around the hotel is scarce, but the staff wouldn't be willing to leave this problem to the guests, so there is a free valet parking service.

There are comfortable lounges on different levels, even a small terrace for gathering outside in summer, all very nice.

The guest rooms are equally tasteful furnished & decorated, have very comfortable beds with down filled cushions, a marble bathroom with bathrobes provided.

The Hotel also features a small Bar and a Restaurant (didn't try).
Breakfast is available either continental at the room or English at the restaurant room (not included in the room rate).

Everything looks new, tidy & absolutely clean. Staying in this place actually makes you feel good.

Not the cheapest stay in Bath, but well worth every penny.

We stayed at the Queensberry Hotel recently for two nights on our way down to Cornwall for a week's holiday. We booked one of the suites on the first floor which was quite expensive but we really wanted a relaxing couple of nights in beautiful surroundings and we weren't disappointed!
When we arrived there was nowhere to park the car on the street so I ran into reception while my husband sat in the car and the receptionist immediately took care of everything, sending the concierge out to park the car for us whilst she helped us in with our luggage.
Our room was beautiful - it occupied what I guess was once a first floor drawing room and had full length windows onto the street, a very comfortable sofa in the sitting area, a huge and comfy bed with lovely bed linen and a nice bathroom with waterfall shower.
Tea and Coffee are served every morning and afternoon in the downstairs drawing room, there are a couple of other sitting rooms where you can get drinks in the evening before having a delicious dinner in the restaurant downstairs. Breakfast is also served in the restaurant and we had continental breakfast both mornings which was fresh and plentiful.
We would definitely recommend staying here - a great success all round!

We stayed over on a busy weekend -Jane Austen festival - and I slept like a baby in a quiet, top floor room overlooking the city rooftops. Spacious and tastefully decorated standard room with large comfy bed and roomy bathroom. All v clean and fresh.
Although fully booked we did not hear other guests or street noise though we slept with windows open. (Top floor could be v warm in high summer). Lovely lounge where we met up with friends for drinks; they were most impressed. Choice of several lounges and a pretty garden courtyard.
Helpful staff parked car, gave directions, responded quickly to all our needs in a friendly but respectful manner. All main attractions - Baths, Assembly rooms, shopping - were only a short walk away. I am a fussy traveller and this was one of the nicest hotels I have stayed in, home or abroad.
