I would recommend this hotel to anyone- really we had such a relaxed stay and felt right at ease due to the extremely friendly staff and very comfortable room. We were made very welcome from even before we had arrived in Bath, and hope to return soon :-)

A bath sanndstone terraced house Grade 1 listed and decorated in keeping with its period. Our suite on the groundfloor overlooking the street was absolutely beautiful. The room s looked to be in original proprtion. It felt vey much like home rather than a hotel room. The service was great.Ever smiling staff.Bath isn't big and everything was in walking distance from the hotel.Didn't have a chance to try the restaurant but breakfast was very nice. Our stay was too short and we will certainly be returning to this hotel.

The good: Perfect location on a very quiet street, 5 mins walk from near the centre of Bath, fab gourmet restaurant and delicious breakfast, lovely staff couldn't have been more helpful.

The bad: Slightly dated decor and ridiculously hot bathroom. I had a dreadful night's sleep due to the stuffy room, plasticky sheets and heavy duvet, though to be fair I c and should have aired the room hours before going to bed!

The service, accommodation and food at the Cavendish Restaurant is excellent. My colleagues and I visit Bath regularly and always stay at the Dukes Hotel.

Having recently stayed at Dukes Hotel to celebrate a special family occasion, we cannot express our thanks enough to all the staff who helped to make our time there so memorable.

From the warm and friendly reception, the beautiful rooms, attention to detail, excellent location right through to the superb food Dukes Hotel really was the perfect venue.

The hotel is ideally situated for exploring the beautiful, historic city of Bath, and the comfy rooms and welcoming restaurant offer the ideal relaxing evening.

We would not hesitate to recommend Dukes Hotel, and it would certainly be top of our list of places to stay in Bath on another occasion.

Stayed at Dukes for a night while on a valentines/ relaxing/ sight seeing weekend away in Bath. Was very impressed by the quality and space of the rooms with very helpful staff on hand, ok the price may be a little expensive but then the quality was there to justify it. I would definately recommend a stay there!
