We stayed at the Dukes Hotel after seeing it on this website, well, we are so glad we did.

We were upgraded to a four-poster suite as the previous occupants of our room had run away with the key, but no complaints this end, the room was huge, massive bed, really clean, comfortable and spacious.

The breakfast was fantastic too, just right... only 10 minutes walk into town, amazingly helpful and friendly staff, what more could you want?

We absolutely love Bath, it's an amazing city, we shall be back later this year and DEFINATELY staying at the Dukes!

Dukes is perfectly located in a beautiful street, minutes away from the river, Roman Baths and shops. The staff are extremely friendly and Mike was spot on with the recommendations he gave us (boat trip and pubs/restaurants). We had a spotless suite, very comfortable. Excellent breakfast. We would certainly return to this hotel without hesitation on our next visit to Bath.

Stayed here for a break away from the kids. Lovely setting that suits Bath and very attractive rooms. Staff warm and welcoming from the start, helpful and attentive throughout. Food both at breakfast and evening meal was excellent with good choice and was top quality.
We were fortunate enough to stay in a suite, which was very roomy and comfortable. The location is a mere 5 minute walk into the city and handily placed for all amenities.
Only possible down side was that there could have been problems with parking near by but on a very busy bank holiday weekend we were still able to park next to the hotel.
Look forward to going back again.

We stayed at Dukes over the May Bank Holiday weekend, and thoroughly enjoyed the hotel. Dukes is located in a Grade I listed building within about a 10-15 minute walk from the center of Bath. Our room was spacious and charming, with a beautiful view. The staff were all helpful and knowledgeable. Be warned though - there are no lifts/elevators in the building. Some of the rooms are on higher floors.

After having had a terrible experience a few weekends back at a small BNB, my wife and i were anxious about returning to a small inn. From the time of reservation to check out, i can't marvel enough about what a great experience the DUKES was. Mike upgraded us to a lovely double room on the top floor. It was a great space to unwind after a day of relaxing at the Bath Spa! The staff were super courteous, and very knowledgeable about the city. Breakfast was simple, but hit the spot, will definitely return again and again!

The Dukes Hotel certainly ticks all the boxes. It is a very comfortable hotel with friendly service. The en-suite bedroom we had on the first floor was very clean and spacious and the bed was very comfortable - so necessary after a long day sight-seeing! We also loved the high ceilings and large Georgian windows in our room.

The hotel is only 5 minutes walk from all the shops and attractions in the city centre and the hotel gives you a free car parking permit to park your car on the street outside!

We'll definitely stay here again the next time we're in Bath, and we'll make sure we eat in the hotel's Cavendish Restaurant because we've read a lot of good reports about it.
