Nice church with many features like Notre Dame in Paris. Floor in dire shape (as noted in information posted around the church interior) and with a suggested donation instead of entry fee, most visitors passed up making a donation. After seeing the signs about the floor and the extent of need, I made a donation.
Beautiful architecture, the East window of the Abbey is wonderful. There is no entrance fee as such, you are asked to make a donation of around £2.50; although there is a fee to visit the Abbey Tower.
Awesome experience but would suggest to take a guided tour so that you can visit several places in one go like Windsor Castle, Stone Henge etc..
The different pictures and embroideries of the story of Christ's life are absolutely beautiful. Such skill demonstrated. Also was good to hear the children's workshop playing the drums which echoed through the Abbey. A truly beautiful place to visit.
