We really enjoyed being led around the city by Richard on Tuesday. He gave some wonderful stories and insight to Roman and Georgian times and what Bath was like. Would definitely recommend!

“King Richard...Bath's best tour guide...”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 15 July 2014

Today (15/07/14) we stumbled on a fantastic free walking tour of Bath. A superb experience with our knowledgeable, funny, entertaining guide Richard. He was an absolute delight. Cannot recommend highly enough. Also can't believe it's free. Best thing we did in Bath all day!

“A different kind of tour”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 14 July 2014

The mayor's guides are all local residents and know an incredible amount of history and legends not only about Bath but about England in general. They will take you around all the places you want to go, but not only will they tell you fun stories that all the tour guides will, but also provide an honest and relevant history, along with fun stories and tangents are really interesting! Addtionally, they DO NOT accept tips, so the tour is completely free! takes about 2 hours, but might run over due to all the wonderful stories.

“Get to know Bath”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 13 July 2014

This is a great way to see and learn about the history of Bath. Our guide was David and he did an excellent job on the tour. The tour lasted a little over 2 hours and David provided stories of history of Bath and the architechtural styles of buildings. The tour is free and the guides will not accept any tips.

“Mayors honorary Guide of Bath”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 12 July 2014 via mobile

I just finished this free walking tour of Bath and it was great. Our guide John was knowledgable and gave us both an historical and architectural tour of the city. This was well organized with 5 volunteer unpaid guides leading the groups. Well done Mr/Madame Mayor!
