“Worth the trip”

Take the time to visit the Roman Baths. Make sure the utilize the audio guides that are included with admission. It is amazing to think about about how old these baths are and the engineering that went into making them work.

What an amazing place, with screens at different places showing animated videos of how the place looked years ago. Lovely voice guide with sound effects.
Enjoyed the visit, worth every penny. Strongly recommended

“A Nice Dip In A Pool Of Heritage”
Reviewed 22 May 2014

The Roman Baths Museum gives the average tourist a strong understanding of Bath's origins as a leisurely retreat for the Romans. Inside the exhibits are well preserved and are a joy to behold, especially as the Baths themselves are still in working order, bubbles and all. There are talking headsets available for the language of each visitor with the numbers being clearly defined on each exhibit to get the right piece of commentary. This attraction marks the centre of Bath so is easy to find, but queues can be long and like many historical attractions maintenance work is common during the winter months. Thankfully the staff are very helpful and the route around the baths is clearly defined so you don't get lost (or fall in) during your visit. There are other marvels that the museum can offer, including roman mosaics and hypocausts. If you have a bit of spare change you might want to indulge in a meal at the restaurant next door. However, students get a good discount and if you're one of Bath's own admission is free.
