Very interesting, and I am not a culture vulture!
Liked the personal audio system and the fact that we could listen to what we wanted, all or nothing at all.

On a rather warm April afternoon after having lunch opposite in the sun we decided to take a tour of the Roman Bath Museum. Yes it is an attraction therefore there are queues, however this did not take long at all as all tills were occupied.
We opted to walk alone unguided, however you are given recorders to tell the story as you go that we thought were great and very easy to use.
Worth a look around, especially if you are a history buff ;-) or just intrigued in this particular history.

We spent a wonderful afternoon at the Roman Baths. It recommends 2 hours, but we were there closer to 3 hours. The audio guides are so helpful. It makes the whole Roman life come alive. Because we had only seen pictures of the bath on the main floor, I thought this was going to be an expensive look at an old swimming pool! What you don't see are the multiple rooms in the whole complex that show so many other aspects of Roman culture and history. It is a huge museum and worth the price. I would highly recommend visiting!

We visited the baths on a rainy morning and spend an enjoyable 2 hours there. The cost is a bit high (at £27 for two adults - hence only 4 stars) but this includes an audio guide which was very helpful and allows you to amble round at your own speed.

The baths themselves are amazing along with the filling and drainage systems which still work and it is hard to believe these were built almost 2,000 years ago

My wife, who loves all things Roman, really loved the visit

Take the time to visit the Roman Baths. Make sure the utilize the audio guides that are included with admission. It is amazing to think about about how old these baths are and the engineering that went into making them work.
