The work put into the excavation, preservation and curation is excellent. One can feel the history and atmosphere of the place. The staff are helpful and friendly. Information is well documented.

“Unsure why the fuss?”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 1 June 2014

I was excited about visiting the Roman Baths, all i can say is it was a bit of a let down. Upon paying you are provided an audio guide to accompany you throughout the museum journey. Essentially, there are three floors in the museum. The top floor is statues and you looking down at the main bath. The middle floor is where the main bath is situated and the basement (ground) floor is ruins and a wishing well. You are able to explore the museums and the audio guides point you to interesting points throughout.

It was not particular interesting and you can easily tour the museum in 15 minutes although the audio guide is an hour plus. It is nice to see the baths but for the price you pay it is a let down.

“A must!”

The audio tour is great. Give yourself a couple of hours to go around at your own pace. It does get crowded. Don't be put off by the queue - it moves quickly and it is worth it.

“A Must See”

The baths parent the site as it was during 4th century Britain. Very well conceived, with excellent displays and good tours.
