Lovely Guest House; traditional setting for the area. Walking distance to sightseeing, particularly The Circus, parks, Abbey, and Thermae Spa. Quiet location. Ample room, clean and comfortable. Good restaurants in the area. Good breakfast and helpful hosts.

My husband and I stayed at Brock's for 3 nights on a recommendation from a Rick Steves guidebook. This was our first trip to Bath. The house was located a stone's throw from the Royal Crescent and the Circus which made for some lovely early morning walks. We stayed in a back courtyard facing room for 2 nights, then moved to the street facing dormered room the night (we moved for room scheduling reasons only). They were both lovely, cozy, very British rooms. The location was also ideal for us because it was more removed from the more busy, tourist-packed streets in the heart of town. We loved hearing birds singing in the morning, other than that, it was a very quiet and relaxing room. The managers, Richard and Sammy, were friendly and helpful. We ate some great breakfasts and found all the food in Bath excellent. We ate at the following restaurants: Circus (next door to Brock’s), Bistro Papillon (around the corner from Brock’s), Sally Lunn’s (for tea near the Abbey), Brown’s (a bigger eatery), The Pump Room (for High Tea). We would certainly go back to Brock’s.

We stayed at Brock's for 4 nights. This was the first stop on our first trip overseas and they couldn't have been nicer. They looked after us, advised us, and in general made us feel at home. For us, staying here was one of the highlights of our trip and we will definitely return if we have the chance.

We were in Bath for a couple of days mainly to see the Christmas Market and we stayed at Brocks, where we've stayed several times before. Even though it's changed ownership since we last stayed there, the new managers were very friendly and efficient. The location remains superb, sitting between the Circus and the Royal Crescent. The room was quite capacious and comfortable. The breakfasts were excellent. I would recommend this B&B to anyone planning a trip to Bath. The tariff is not cheap but not high by Bath standards.
