Brocks Guest House is in a good location within walking distance to most know places of interest.
The house itself is nice but our stay was sadly let down by the overall poor standard of accommodation. The whole place is getting a little tatty and needs cleaning and updating.
The shower in our room was poor, the water only coming out at a trickle, the towels were old and thin, the bed covers were dated, our breakfast was poor, burnt bacon and sausages, WiFi was not working.
The most disappointing thing was the poor service. With the previous proprietors having left the day before we arrived we had two separate couples looking after the place. (Unable to fix WiFi and replace towels)
For the money paid Brocks is poor value for money.
I hope Brocks Guest House will be able to sort out the various issues mentioned, until then I'm unable to recommend.
