“Perfect Paradise”
Reviewed 26 May 2014

This was my first visit to Bath and will not be my last, absolutely a perfect perfect house to stay in. I loved that is was Georgian and felt very Jane Austen like staying there. The staff were extremely friendly starting from the moment we walked though the door when we were taken to the Drawing Room to be shown maps of Bath and restaurant recommendations. The room we stayed in was very small but was comfortable and the bed was huge. The breakfast was delicious and there was so much choice. The gardens are beautifully kept and there is a stunning view of the Royal Crescent from your breakfast table. I think the next time we stay there we will book earlier and book one of the rooms with a four-poster bed, I can't wait!

Booked here for a last minute overnight trip to Bath with my 10 year old. Attentive service began before the stay with a call to ask me if i'd prefer the king size bed to be made up as 2 singles; really thoughtful. Staying in such an old house up a steep road 5 minutes walk from the city centre made for an atmospheric stay. Lovely gardens and beautiful views from our room were fabulous as was the huge freestanding roll top bath, powerful shower and Molton Brown toiletries in the large and pristine shuttered bathroom. Crisp, fresh sheets, HUGE pillows, tea and coffee facilities as well as a dvd player (with dvds to borrow) helped make this short trip special. Lovely view by the window for breakfast with a wide choice of good things to eat, suitable for all sorts of tastes as well as proper crisp white linen. This hotel is a hidden gem if you are staying in Bath. Oh and did I mention you can request fresh milk for your coffee/tea at any time until 10-30 pm? Just perfect.

This was truly delightful place to stay. The food was delicious and the hosts couldn't do more for us. We were greeted with a pot of tea and cake on arrival. Nothing was to much trouble for the hosts. Ideal location for Bath only 5/10 mins walk into centre. Would definitely be revisiting.

The room was clean and very comfortable, breakfast was delicious and plentiful, will certainly return. Highly recommended.

We are not real townies, preferring more rural settings, but we loved staying at Paradise House.
Our room, number 5, was very spacious and you could enjoy a luxurious bath overlooking ...can't say Bath again.... The Crescent and all of Georgian Bath.
Even better....we looked out of the window and there were three hot air balloons floating away...
Very, very comfortable...my only crib was that we found that the pillows were a bit unyielding....but a small price to pay...

Stayed one night recently - wished we could have stayed longer. B&B style accommodation. Tricky stairs could be a problem for some people with the rooms on higher floors with magnificent views but if you can't manage the steps there are rooms overlooking the magnificent gardens. Warm, friendly greeting upon arrival. We had arrived early and were able to park on site in one of only a few spots but there is other parking available nearby. Our trusty GPS guided us to the hotel. The direction from which we had travelled (from the west) was a little difficult coming in from the west but had no issues heading east on departure. Location of this hotel could not be better in Bath. Footpath outside takes you directly to the centre of Bath in ten minutes. A token on your room key entitles you to discounts around Bath. Our room was beautifully decorated. Guests are free to borrow books or DVDs from a good selection in the library. Dark curtains and extremely comfortable bed ensured a wonderful night's sleep. Full English breakfast provided each morning in the dining room overlooking the garden with fresh fruit, cereals and cooked to order hot selection. We were fortunate to enjoy a very mild, sunny day whilst in Bath. The hotel is licensed to serve alcohol and we made the most of the sunshine and enjoyed an after dinner drink outside in the garden soaking up the beauty and fragrant wafts from the various blossoms. This is a small boutique hotel in a great location, good staff and beautiful surrounds which is fairly priced.

Room Tip: We had a room on a high floor with great views over the gardens and Bath accessed via a winding (at...
