We stayed for our honeymoon and made this hotel our base for a week. The hotel is beautiful with nice clean rooms. The breakfast is spectacular. They offer everything from the full English breakfast to healthy yogurts and fruits. Their garden rivals the Royal Crescent. You can see a panorama of the entire city from the breakfast room window. Make sure to get up early for breakfast to claim the best table at the garden window. We stayed long enough to enjoy the complimentary trip to the spa at the McDonald Hotel. It was a very nice way to relax after sightseeing. The hotel staff is very helpful and suggested great dinner options. The hotel is located on a quiet hillside just outside the city center. The hill is a strenuous walk. However, no hill, no view. The city center is about a ten minutes away. Parking is tricky and the street is hard to find. The hotel is very helpful. This is minor challenge with this perfect hotel.
