Classic old bed and breakfast hotel in a quiet area that was an easy short walk to the downtown activities. Room (especially the bed) was very comfy. Breakfast was delicious. Pitcher of Pimms was delightful (recommend!). Staff was knowledgable, helpful and courteous. We stayed two nights...also recommend.
We took the train in from London, went straight to the hotel, dropped our luggage, and got directions to get tickets for a 3:00 p.m. bus trip to Stonehenge (also recommend). Walked back to hotel to freshen up, then walked in town for dinner. The next day we spent touring, then experiencing the spas and massage. The whole experience was fabulous.
