We stayed two nights and would happily have stayed longer we were so pleased with our room. The house itself, and everything in it, looks lovely. We were warmly welcomed and shown up to our room. Very good size and wonderful views over the city. A comfortable bed and a small sofa to lounge around on. Very quiet - we wouldn't have known there was anyone else staying. A decent breakfast on both mornings. It was a bit pricey but just about worth it.

We were promised five star luxury accommodation- that is certainly what we expected for £165 per night. However; rooms were ok, breakfast was average, staff rather snotty and arrogant. Location was great- however we were very disappointed to return to our room after a lovely day in bath to find it unlocked and the key the cleaners used still in the lock. Whilst I am sure the other guests were more than trustworthy this is not five star treatment. No apology from the staff on duty just a thank you for returning the key. We will not be revisiting Dorian house.

We found this hotel just by using Google and seeing all the great reviews. It's not hard to see why customers rave about it. The decor is fabulous- quirky, luxurious and stylish; in my opinion it is the perfect example of a 'boutique' hotel and how I imagine the Du Vin hotels used to be before they sold out to a chain.
Located a 10min walk to the shops and bars, it was a great base for us to experience Bath. Plenty of free parking and fabulous service. We were greeted on arrival and made to feel really welcome. Our room, Du Pre, was stunning; elegant with all the mod-cons, White Company toiletries, complimentary bottled water and a huge comfy 4 poster bed. A real treat.
Whilst getting ready for our night out, we ordered a couple of VAT's to the room which arrived quickly and with love heart shaped ice cubes! A really sweet touch and I appreciated little gestures like this. Charming.
Amazing breakfast in the morning with endless choice, served in the stunning oak framed Orangery. Delicious.
Before we had even checked out we decided we definitely will go back, next time for 2nights and with friends- Dorian House is a true gem and we are desperate to experience it again. Fantastic.

Dorien House was by far the best hotel we have ever stayed at. We stayed for one night and had booked a standard room but upon our arrival we were upgraded to the most beautiful room (Slava Room). The room was comfortable and spotlessly clean. The manager was incredibly friendly and welcoming, the breakfast was lovely and we will definitely be revisting Dorian House in the future. I could not recommend it enough.

We stayed here and really enjoyed ourselves. the room had a nice 4 post bed and was clean and comfortable breakfast also was very nice with crossiants fruit and oats. there was a good amount of leaflets on where to go and do which was very helpful. The hotel is on a hill so was a 10 minute about walk to get to it. the car park is free and was always spaces for us. We liked Bath very much and its history and we would be happy to stay here again and will recomend.

Warm welcome, lovely decor, fab food - finest quality. Can not say a bad word, we all had an excellent time. In the Ellington room, even had our own entrance. Good nights sleep and one of the best cooked breakfasts ever eaten. I would say it is a short walk into bath but it is up quiet a hill.

Stayed just one night in room 9 on the ground floor but if they hadn't have been fully booked we would stayed a second night. The room was spacious and very clean and had a superb bathroom with a power shower. The bed was kingsize and extremely comfortable. The hotel is situated approx 10-15 minutes walk from bath city centre and cost £5 in a taxi. The car park was compact and very steep but free. Staff were very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was lovely. I would stay again!
