My wife and I stayed on a Friday night in November and the hotel seemed quite busy.
The rooms are clean and tidy.
Two main issues the bed in room 354 appeared to have a very soft mattress which was not a all comfortable and beware the walls are thin....we heard more than we needed to from beside and above the room!!!
Despite the above if you can get a good deal on the room rate then it's a very well positioned hotel as you couldn't be more central.
Parking an issue at £18 per night.

Room Tip: We asked for a quiet room but would hate to know what a noisy location was like!!" Ask for river view.

The best thing about this hotel has to be it's location. Almost everything worth visiting in Bath is walking distance from this hotel

- The staff is very courteous and warm
- Very good in-room service with good range of food and drinks
- Good rooms, clean and tidy with spacious wash rooms

Would love to be back here very soon

Room Tip: Rooms facing the main street provide a magnificent view of the hills of Lansdown in the morning

check in was efficient, however parking was not included and the car park underneath the hotel was 15gbp per night which was rather expensive. the room was quite nice with a very good size bed. breakfast was excellent. superb location in the city centre.

Having read other reviews I did wonder how good the hotel would be but was pleasantly surprised.I have rated value as 5 as we got a fab deal on line & stayed 3 nights. The reception staff couldn't have been more helpful,we were early checking in & our room wasn't ready which was fine but the receptionist just swapped our room over so we could check in straight away.Room was a twin, clean & perfect for us.Breakfast was included & really good.Hotel in a great position for walking into town.Having read reviews regarding the parking I already knew how much it would be,& when we checked out the guy on reception let us come back later that morning to collect our parking token so we didn't need to move the car as we wanted to walk into town.Overall a great stay & we would recommend this hotel.

Overall an okay stay for one night only. Conveniantly located, carparking under the hotel which is quite expensive but handy for offloading/loading your cases. Breakfast was good. The lunch we ordered on our arrival, sandwiches and a drink took just over an hour to arrive and were overpriced, £8 for a ham and £7 for egg mayo. The sink in room 201 was really small, to try and wash your face meant water was splashed all over the place, comfortable room on the whole, but tired looking. There was an awful lot of dust in the room as well.

Room Tip: The view from 201 is very good. It is a disabled room with a walk in shower. It is located next to the lifts and was at times noisy.
