Very good location in centre of Bath. My room was well decorated, clean and comfortable, with good amenities. Comfy bed and pillows. The room was at the front of the hotel but I had no problem with noise. Staff were very friendly and helpful.More

We recently stayed at The Hilton Hotel in Bath City and found it to be very good. Unfortunately we didn't arrive at the hotel until 2am after a long day at a wedding, so we didn't get to try it out properly. However, we had breakfast served in the room which was very good. The staff were very helpful and looked after our bags for us and gave us good information about where to visit in Bath. The hotel is in a perfect location for visiting Bath and it is close to the shopping areas and also to the center of the City. There is a hat shop called The British Hatter directly opposite the hotel and it is the best hat shop I have ever visited, so if you have a big occasion coming up, maybe a trip to the Hilton Bath would be in order!!!

Tiny room, advertised as queen deluxe with a king size bed. Wrong on both counts!
Room looked over the city side with a busy bar opposite. The windows were shut tight but the sound traveled dreadfully and hence two sleepless nights.
No turn down on either night, shower over bath! In a Hilton charging >£200 per night!!
Hotel itself was bland and looked tired, staff were pleasant but not particularly knowledgeable.
I am a regular Hilton user and generally like the brand, but in recent months they seem to be slipping and this was an all time low.

we stayed for one night in Bath in the Hilton. The location is excellent.
Parking is charged extra at £15. WiFi is also charged extra at £15.
We did not dine or had drinks in the hotel because I am not prepared to be ripped off on those as well.
For £249 I had the privilege to have a dirty roof as a view.
The bed was two singles pushed together and we both had backache for the next two days after our stay.
Surely they can spend more money on beds charging those kind of prices.
Breakfast was average and really nothing special.
I felt that I could get a better deal elsewhere.
Thank you for your review and your compliment of our hotels excellent location is appreciated. I am sorry to read that you found the ‘ziplink’ bed uncomfortable, as these are used extensively in hotels. However, we do appreciate that mattress density is a very personal one.
Our overnight stay was as bland and beige as the hotel's exterior would suggest. We booked a last minute deal but felt on reflection that it was poor value. An indifferent buffet breakfast was £10 extra per person, broadband for free only for an hour in the hotel's public spaces and charged for in your room. Overnight parking was an extra £15 and the bar prices were unbelievable! Our room looked out onto an unkempt flat roofed area colonised by screeching gulls and their young which kept us awake into the night and prevented us from having the window open. It takes a lot to disappoint us...but this experience certainly did.

Had a fantastic afternoon made all the better as celebrating my friend's birthday it was acknowledged in the best way possible way, a further glass of bubbly with strawberry stirrer. Excellent time had by us both. Service excellent, nothing too much trouble. Very memorable and we will be back.
