we had a buy a gift voucher - costs us £112.00. with this we were entitled to a 3 course dinner with cocktails. value wise a load of rubbish. shared starter of Camembert. 1 steak and 1 tuna steak. all you get with dinner was a small piece of steak, 1 mushroom and half a tomato and a few french fries. dessert bowl of ice cream. cocktail was only small flute of champagne with half a strawberry. Not recommended to anyone.

Room Tip: not recommended to eat in there

We admit that our trip was complementary after a couple of bad stays but the new Manager as very convincing so off we went. I must say the new staff and management have made a massive difference.the restaurant staff are amazing.nothing was to much trouble.the room was lovely, spacious and clean.the only slight thing was the plug by the bed are not English so my husbands sleep apnoea machine would not plug in, but the sorted out a extension lead immediately so a nothing problem.we will differently be going back. new management and staff can change a place so if you have had problems in the past give it another go. You will be pleasantly surprised.

Room Tip: just if you need to plug something near to the bed ring first and get them to put an extension lead...

We booked through VisitBath and got a special rate and free tickets to the Thermal Baths - although the hotel tried to charge us the full rate when we had already paid a deposit so beware! It is well worth checking out the city's website for lots of information on what to do, where to go etc. The location is great but it's also pretty noisy at this time of year so ask for a quiet room. Having said that, it's not so easy as between the merry revellers and the seagulls, you'll be lucky to get a good night's sleep. The room was pretty small but ok for one night. Except for the issue over the deposit, they were a good bunch of staff. We did not have breakfast there but headed for a small cafe nearby where they did not charge £15 for internet access - disgraceful in this day and age! Car parking £15.......

Room Tip: Tricky one here as in July there are loads of hen parties and stag do's and the seagulls are nes...

Not a good experience no fan in bathroom no help with bags and having to pay £15 for parking the last straw was having the bill put under the door early on Sunday morning. I have stayed in B&Bs better than this hotel .If you are planning a trip to Bath avoid this place .

Excellent location in Bath, close to centre and ideal for the Abbey, which we were attending for our son's graduation.Only stayed one night but staff were friendly, professional and attentive throughout. Parked in the Podium car park underneath. The cost for this £15 for the length of the stay, just take car park token to reception.
Breakfast was good with lots of choice although the metal tables were unappealing and could have done with a table cloth.
The building looks very tired from the outside and the rooms have a similar feel. We had booked a Deluxe Queen size room for one night, including breakfast at £123. The room was badly in need of a refurbishment, although bed was quite comfortable, duvet wasn't big enough. The over bath shower was awful with just a trickle of water and air con was only cool in one area of the room. The TV picture was very fuzzy and furniture and fittings all looked a bit tired.
We booked well in advance, as hotels in the city do get booked up quickly and last time stayed further out of town in a lovely hotel. You are definitely paying for convenience to the city here. Thankfully the pleasant and helpful staff made the stay so would probably stay again, hopefully they'll have refurbished the rooms by then.

Room Tip: Our room was 426 on the 4th floor by the lift and was very quiet.

Booking in was very easy and our room was ready well in advance of 3pm. Room was nice and well decorated, situated on the 3rd floor overlooking the river. There were however a couple of issues around the cleanliness of the room ie hair around the toilet and a stain on the bed sheet. Ear plugs would be useful as the seagulls are very noisy first thing.

The staff as you would expect in a Hilton were friendly and efficient. Bar service was good in the small bar area.

We stayed 2 nights and paid £15 to park in the Podium car park under the hotel. £15 is charged each time you exit. The car park also services the adjacent Waitrose so finding a spot can be troublesome.

As others have said the location is very good for all the attractions, bars and restaurants. Our favourite bar was the 'Tramshed' a short walk away that does good food.

We enjoyed our stay here and would definitely use the Hotel again.

Very good location in centre of Bath. My room was well decorated, clean and comfortable, with good amenities. Comfy bed and pillows. The room was at the front of the hotel but I had no problem with noise. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
