We were lucky in finding a room for two nights at this hotel. I suspect that weekends are booked months in advance but we stayed mid- week and what a pleasure it was! It's central location is fantastic and the car park an added bonus not often found in small city centre hotels.
The decor was very in keeping with a modern regency twist and the bed was the best one we have slept in during our seriously extensive travels. So comfortable that we are considering changing our still new mattress back home.
Immaculate rooms and a superb breakfast was matched by superb service. In particular, the girl who serviced our room was charming and seriously efficient and to be greeted by the smiling friendly personality of our well experienced Italian? Waiter at breakfast set us up for the rest of the day.
Some things can be bought like; high end luxury, gourmet food, views to kill for etc. but charming and delightful service comes from picking the right staff and keeping them happy..... Clearly the Francis does this extremely well.
Breakfast, with a menu that changed each day was delicious and I Lok forward to staying with this hotel again....... Very soon I hope.More
