Beautifully decorated hotel made of town houses knocked together and managed to get a fairly last minute deal at £130 a night vs the normal £190. I felt this offered fairly good value for money but the breakfast and extras are expensive at £15 per night parking and £20 each for breakfast. The bar staff were disappointing not knowing how to make some common cocktails and doing some wrongly but on the whole a good weekend away with plenty to do in Bath. Would have rated very good as hotel great but knocked down on the basis of extras cost and normal night rate increasing expectation.
