A bit difficult to find tucked away in a lovely village with a canal and charming old railway station.
From the outside the hotel has a bit of the Fawlty Towers look about it but the staff are helpful. A nice lounge and an interesting restaurant menu.
Stands on a small hill with quite a tricky narrow access drive. No disabled parking that anyone could point me at. Our room was smallish but comfortable, with a very well appointed bathroom. The room had very nice views over the hillside. Very busy car park, in fact more busy than the hotel seemed. A good place from which to explore the lovely surrounding areas.More
