My husband and myself spent 2 nights at Tasburgh House. All the reviews are correct, we couldn't find any thing wrong (not that we were looking). Sue is a brilliant host, what a lovely Baileys, delivered to the room to finish the evening. The staff are all very attentive. The breakfast was all fresh and tasty. The towels in the room were outstanding, we have never had such luxurious towels. We hope to return in the summer to enjoy the lovely garden, we would thoroughly recommend a stay.

Room Tip: Had a very good night sleep as the beds are very comfortable.

Stayed here recently for 4 nights after reading Tripadviser reviews and were not disappointed. We had a small double room on the ground floor at the back as my husband is not good going up stairs, but as the house is built on a slope the room was actually on a higher floor at the rear and we had an amazing view of the gardens and surrounding countryside . We tried the walk into Bath along the canal once which although v pleasant was a bit too uneven for my husband and we went on the bus other
days (bus stop just outside hotel). Sue and all the staff couldn't have been more friendly and helpful and we would highly recommend Tasburgh House to anyone.

Our stay at Tasburgh House was a wonderful experience and Sue was a most pleasant and helpful hostess. I would recommend this guest house to anyone wanting to stay in Bath or Bathampton. The assistance and advise received on our visit was most helpful.

Room Tip: As Australians, we did not use the pool. Bit cold for our liking.

My husband and I spent a wonderful two nights recently at Tasburgh House and we are so glad to have experienced such a delightful place. An extremely warm welcome with complimentary drinks on arrival. We felt totally spoilt during our stay. Sue and all the staff are so attentive and nothing is too much trouble. The setting is spectacular and so easy to get in to Bath and I would recommend the canal route for people who enjoy a walk. Room was lovely and the comfort of the bed heavenly !!! I particularly loved the welcoming teddy on the bed which we knicknamed Robert,as the room was called the Robert Browning room. Would not hesitate recommending Tasburgh House to anyone and will most definitely be back again to visit Bath and the delightful Tasburgh House. Thank you Sue and all the staff xx

We arrived at Tasburgh House for our second stay, but was completely unplanned! We were on our way home from my daughter in Wales and had planned to find somewhere on the Gower Peninsular to stay, but were very disappointed with what we found. The decision was made to return to Tasburgh House, Bath (on our way home). On arrival we were tired and fed up, but Sue immediately made us feel at ease and luckily a room was available for us at a reasonable rate. The room was perfect and we had a good nights sleep in a very comfortable bed, followed by a very adequate continental breakfast in the conservatory. Nothing was to much trouble for Sue and on arrival she very kindly booked a table for us at a local inn just along the canal. The food was excellent! We will visit again and stay longer next time!

We stayed two nights in this upmarket gust house, which was well above our expectations. The decor, furnishings and general ambiance would put many boutique hotels to shame.
This is a hilly location hence the superb views. Those fitter than this reviewer would no doubt walk to Bath City Centre along the canal, however we took the inexpensive cabs.
Excellent quality furniture to the bedroom and possibly the only minor criticism was the slightly small bedroom and en-suite. The other advantages easily overcame this small disadvantage.
The owner and staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive. Nothing was too much trouble.

We love going to Tasburgh House, it is like going to a friend house, even more. We really feel like at home. Susan and Dalila are exceptional and they know how to make you feel all right. They put all their effort to make it, you can see it in every single detail. They are impeccable and exquisite running Tasburgh. They make Tasburgh House something unique.
