“Best hotel I've stayed in”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 11 November 2013

This was by far the best hotel I've stayed in within my memory. The room was lovely, Sue was an excellent host, the breakfast was amazing and the view from the room was stunning in both rain and shine. I couldn't find anything to fault it if I tried.

I look forward to staying again at this amazing hotel.

My wife and I decided to visit Bath and after looking at various hotels and b&b settled on Tasburgh House. A brilliant decision. Sue and everyone connected made us feel very welcome. It felt like home from home and the bed meant a brilliant nights sleep! We would definitely stay there again as it was perfect.

We have recently come back from 3 nights at the Tasburgh which was lovely. When we arrived they were just finishing the shower room as were given complimentary coffee and biscuits which was really nice We didn't have to wait long for the room and it gave us a chance to look at all the booklets of things to do in Bath as we hadn't been there before. the room was lovey and the finished ensuite was finished to a high standard and it was nice to know we were the first ones to use it, We walked down the gardens to Bath centre which were lovely we walked back in the evening via the road as it was dark by then the path is quite steep we could have got a taxi but prefer to walk so was ideal for us. The hotel being about 15 minutes walk from the city centre meant it was quiet and we had lovely views down to bath, Sue and Delia were exceptional hosts and remembered where we were going each day. We could have spent more time in Bath and very much enjoyed our stay,

Stayed here two nights this last week with my family while visiting Bath. The (quad) room we shared as a family was large and the beds very comfortable. The staff are very friendly and greet you each time they see you with a warm smile and a genuine desire to make your stay a great one. The hotel and grounds are immaculate and well maintained. A pleasure to stay in. The short walk down the hill to the City gives great views of the surroundings. We would definitely stay again.

Room Tip: If you are family of 4 and wish to share a room, the Shelley room is ideal.

A very enjoyable weekend with friends. Look at the top reviews, then book with confidence: you will not be disappointed.
The rooms are quiet, well appointed and scrupulously clean; as are all the facilities throughout the rest of the hotel.
We fully expect to return next time we're looking to stay in the area.

This is our third stay at Tasburgh House and it has fast become one of our favourite hotels anywhere. Sue is a wonderful host, the rooms are beautiful, stylish and comfortable - even the single room in which my mum stayed. My mum does not enthuse easily! Even she was delighted by our weekend stay here. Sue went out of her way to make mum's big birthday celebration such a success. Continental breakfast is great and cooked breakfast very good value.

Room Tip: All rooms are stylish and comfortable. Some rooms have a lovely view over the garden and meadow.

The attention to detail in the main hotel is exceptional and the staff were so professional and helpful. The gardens were stunning and I imagine a wonderful place to sit when the weather allows (which it didn't for us).
The location is not bad, as you can walk to town in about fifteen minutes and parking is a great bonus.
We had a terrace room which had the benefit of tables and chairs righ outside your door and again would be great in the summer. The room was a little small and not quite of the same quality as the rest of the building but it was comfortable and quiet.
If you are looking for a quiet, gentile, romantic break with a bit of walking then this is a good choice.

Room Tip: Perhaps not the terrace room, as it is quite small although a plus if the weather is good.
