From checking in to our late departure,Sue was the most the most friendliest host we have ever come across, Nothing was too much trouble. The room Sue gave us was the Austin room on the top floor, we couldn't of wished for anything more, although all the rooms were up to the same standard. The Champagne was lovely and chilled to perfection and chocolates too. The breakfast we had was served in the conservatory, what a fantastic view,so relaxing and the staff were first class. We will certainly be returning again, next time with our children.........

Room Tip: Top Floor rooms have fantastic views

A lovely hotel/B&B with great views and a nice garden. Easy access to Bath by foot along the canal, and a short walk to country pubs the other way. Helpful, friendly service. A nice break. We would recommend it for a weekend away.

A very cosy and comfortable venue just 20 minutes walk from the bustle of Bath town centre. An excellent welcome from very friendly staff and a delicious English breakfast. I would not hesitate to recommend Taysburgh House to friends and family.

Amazing weekend in Bath. From booking, sue has been really accommodating. Beautiful house, comfortable rooms, and literally the best G&Ts I've ever had! Excellent location, we were able to walk into bath centre within 20mins along a very pretty canal.

An excellent stay. Lovely room and facilities. Great views over bath. Sue and her staff went out of their way to make our stay memorable . A very pleasant walk to bath down the towpath. We would definitely stay here again.

Room Tip: We stayed in the bronte room which was charming

House & grounds lovely with beautiful location
Staff were friendly althought disagreeing with us that whilst paying full price of £160 for a king room we were in a seperate garden room not the blue & white room displayed on confirmation
Our room was satisfactory but simply not a lovely as those in the house... this simple thing did taint the stay for us as obviously what you pay for on a break in mainly the room

Moral of our stay - DONT BOOK THROUGH BOOKING.COM and to the owner Sue dont re-coup the commission fee from this site by charging the customer themselves the full price of your main house rooms which are beautiful and of a better standard in our eyes. otherwise it would have been perfect.

Room Tip: dont pick one of the garden rooms (we stayed in Dillon Thomas and not as nice as rooms in main house...
