This was are first time staying at The Hawkins we came up from Plymouth for the Rugby we were met at the door by Glyn and Diane, a couple who straight away made us feel really welcome so so friendly. Our rooms (situated on the ground floor) were large suberbly decorated and to high standard, very comfortable.
Breakfast was set up in a very light and airy conservatory with an amazing choice really delicious. We all enjoyed are stay.
Whether you are visiting Bath for the Rugby, xmas market or just to visit this beautiful city you wont go far wrong by staying here. The Hawkins is a ten pound taxi ride or if the weather allows a 1.2 mile walk along the canal to the city, bus is frequent and stops pretty much outside the B&B.

We thoroughly enjoyed our overnight stay. The guest house was beautifully restored with stunning bedrooms. The family suite was perfectly arranged to offer sufficient space and privacy and the gorgeous ensuite was a bonus. The room was light, spacious and immaculately presented. We were able to visit the Roman Baths, Spa, restaurants and a couple of shopping trips as well as the Assembly Rooms and Fashion Museum, all of which were extremely interesting and enjoyable. In addition we felt that Hawkins of Bath gave us a lovely warm, friendly welcome and the delicious cooked breakfast set us up for the day! We look forward to a return visit in the very near future.

We have just spent two nights at Hawkins of Bath and had a thoroughly enjoyable stay. Diane and Glyn are very warm and generous hosts and nothing seemed too much effort. Our room was tasteful and very comfortable with great attention to detail and the fabulous en suite was very welcome after a day of sightseeing in Bath. Breakfast in the garden room was both delicious and generous. A real find.

Room Tip: An easy flat walk into Bath.

We arrived at Hawkins to a warm welcome by hosts Diane and Glyn.
We were shown to our beautiful room with a fantastic on suite , and all the facilities you could want. The walk into bath is about 20 min through the park.Which is just right after a great full english breakfast. We felt very well looked after, and look forward to our next visit.
