Hawkins of Bath is an excellent B&B - without a doubt one of the best we have ever stayed in. Diane and Glyn are fabulously welcoming hosts; the room and bathroom are large, super clean and excellent; the breakfast perfect. The B&B is a lovely walk into Bath through the park that skirts the Royal Crescent and so it is very well placed for those who want to be able to park the car (conveniently in the rear car park of the guest house) and then walk or get a bus into town. Not being right in the centre also means a great night's sleep; the beds are super comfortable and the location is quiet. This B&B is a model of best practice and it really is the small things that matter; for example, there is a fridge in the breakfast room where guests are encouraged to get fresh milk for tea and coffee and / or bottles of water should they be required. Everything is in the right place too, so no stretching on one leg to use the hairdryer because the only available plug in the room is on the other side of the room to the mirror etc... We cannot recommend this B&B highly enough and would absolutely stay there again if we get the chance (which could be slim because it's very likely to be booked up!).

Myself and my partner stayed at the 'Hawkins of Bath' this weekend and our stay couldnt have been any better. When we arrived we were shown to our room and invited down to the lounge for tea and coffee. We were told all about Bath and what it had to offer and were told the best ways to get around and their recommended restaurants and places to visit. Our room was beautiful, We were in the family room which would be fantastic if you had children or more than 2 people travelling . The rooms were clean, spacious and very homely.
Breakfast was perfect, there was a choice of fresh fruits, cereals and juices and the cooked breakfast was lovely.
Glyn and Diane were lovely hosts and made us feel very welcome. I would reccomend Hawkins of Bath to everyone and will definately be going back

We can't fault anything about our stay at Hawkins of Bath. Diane and Glyn are fantastically accommodating and made us feel right at home as soon as we stepped through the front door, plying us with tea and recommending places to eat and see in and around Bath. We had a wonderful night's sleep in the beautiful Lansdown room and started the morning with a delicious cooked breakfast, supplemented with fruit salad, yogurt, juice, tea and coffee. To finish off a perfect stay Glyn very kindly drove us into central Bath to prevent us walking in the rain. We'll certainly be returning in future and recommend that everyone chooses to stay at Hawkins of Bath.

Hawkins of Bath is a wonderful luxury bed and breakfast run by the most charming hosts Diane and Glyn. I luckily stayed here when my son had an overnight stay in hospital after operation. So restful to be able come back to such a charming and inviting room after many hours waiting at the hospital. The large, high ceiling ground floor room as well as being beautifully decorated was toasty warm. Breakfast was one of the best I have ever had. Can highly recommend this B & B, and would stay here again without hesitation on my next visit to Bath, as the location is great and there is free off road parking behind the large Victorian house. Glyn, thank you for lift to hospital and saving me those horrendous parking fees.

Looking to book a B&B for a stop over after a night at the theatre royal i checked trip advisor and this was number 1. After staying i have to stay this is one of the best B&B's I've ever stayed at. The house is a victorian style with large rooms and ceilings. Our stay started off well with off road parking and a warm and friendly welcome from Diane and Glyn and tea and a chat in the lounge. The house has been completely restored with very high quality fixtures and fittings with additional amenities like 2 wifi networks to cover all parts of the house and even a pc to use in the lounge. The walk into town is really good and you get to see just part of beautiful Bath along the royal mile. Our hosts couldn't have been more friendly and accommodating. I think we got a bargain as i would have happily paid another 50% because of the quality of the room and hosts to match other places we have stayed. If you are staying in Bath there is no other place to stay. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

The reviews here are not wrong, this place deserves all the praise it gets. We stayed in the Lansdown room on the ground floor and had a wonderful night's sleep. Although located about 20 mins walk away, the route is easy and a good way to take in some of the sights. The hosts were great and incredibly hospitable. I can't think of anywhere else I'd want to stay in Bath. If I'm back in this city, this is where I would stay and in the same room - you get the plush living room across from it which is nice to relax in when you come back from the town centre.
