Description: Cosy up in our recently refurbished cafe or wrap up and sit outside in our heated courtyard. Quietly situated a stone's throw from Bath Abbey, (just off Abbey Green -side entrance to Marks & Spencer). We pride ourselves with our warm and friendly service and delicious homemade food. We offer breakfasts, lunches and specialise in sweet treats such as homemade cakes and cream teas. We have a wide range of teas and coffees as well as speciality hot drinks and we're licenced to serve alcohol. We will welcome you with A BIG SMILE!

“SUNNY DELIGHT”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 17 June 2014

Took my partner to Bath, on the train, for his birthday and, inevitably, we decided that lunch was the order of the day. Didn't know Bath and only had a printed out street map. After peering at a few menus displayed outside different venues, we decided we liked the look of the gaily coloured tables and chairs down some steps ay The Courtyard Café. We both elected to partake of the prawn jacket - good choice if I may say so myself. Generous, fresh and reasonably priced was the enjoyable food but must give a special mention to the lovely waitresses for their calm, friendly, fast, helpful and efficient service.

“Yummy”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 13 June 2014

Came across this cafe whilst sightseeing in Bath. Sat outside in the sunshine and had the Bath Rarebit. It was a revelation! Thick bread with yummy cheesy rarebit and a good plate of salad and coleslaw. I just about managed to finish it! I will make a bee line for this cafe the next time we visit Bath, just for the Rarebit!!!

“A great little find”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 20 May 2014

Despite being a busy small cafe with not many covers we were quickly found a seat and both the service and the food was excellent. Two of us had the soup of the day which was delicious and just the thing for a rainy day. Portion size was generous and prices reasonable for the center of Bath.

“Hidden Gem”

This cafe was tucked away but well worth seeking out, small and unpretentious it was a lovely friendly place to stop for a cup of tea without being oversold the historic 'tourist' bath.

“Great little place”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 11 May 2014

The queue at Sally Lunn's too long so we went in here, really glad we did. Great service, waitress very friendly. The food was home cooked and great quality and not over priced. Definitely try it out.
