“Superb – Fantastic Apartments, Location and Service”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 26 January 2014 for a stay in June 2013

My sisters and i visited with a group of friends for a special occasion. From the moment i found Purbeck Holiday Lets online they were so helpful with all my questions and queries. We had Sunrise and Sunset, they were absolutely fantastic and i cannot rate highly enough, the location was great, in the countryside with beautiful views however very close to Bath. The finish of both apartments were to a very high standard, they were immaculate, very comfortable and had everything we needed. On one evening i cooked pizza’s for 6, a tight squeeze as we were making the dough and baking in the kitchen! however they were so well equipped, in a beautiful location and we enjoyed a very relaxed evening. The hot tub was great and heated pool a real treat for somewhere at this price range and location. The overall experience was superb, a very memorable weekend and having such a lovely place to stay was a big part. The service was outstanding, Chris always on-hand to help both before we arrived an on-site. Thank you and i would very highly recommend.

“Perfect family accommodation”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 14 November 2013 for a stay in September 2013

We stayed for two nights and our cabin was great for two adults and two children (aged 7 and 11). The bed and sofa bed were very comfortable, the bathroom was good and the kitchen was really well-equipped, and the whole place was extremely clean and well-maintained. The laundry facilities were also very welcome for a family on the road. We were made to feel very welcome, and it was a treat to be able to get supplies including bottled water direct from our hosts before we set off (although the shops are only a few minutes drive away, with a well-stocked supermarket). The highlight for our kids was being able to enjoy the pool and games room - over several weeks driving around the UK and Ireland, this was by far the children's favourite of the places we stayed!

“Amazing place for the girls to get ready for my wedding!”

Me and my 7 bridesmaids plus their other halves all stayed here the night before my wedding at Priston Mill. There was plenty room for the boys to have space to sit and natter as well as for the girls to all have hair and make up done on the morning.

The rooms were clean and well equipped and the showers and bathrooms all clean and hot. We cooked dinner and there was room for us all to sit and eat outside. It is really peaceful, all you can see is fields from the windows and there is a stream running down the back of the cottages.

The owners live on site and were really helpful and flexible.

We had a great time in the hot tub at night.

I would definitely stay here again.

“Beautiful lodges, well equipped with great facilities”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 29 September 2013 for a stay in September 2013

We hired the two lodges and two apartments for two nights for a special occasion. The setting was beautiful and facilities were excellent. There was a play area outside with a trampoline which would be great for kids and a games room with table football, Wii, darts and board games for the big kids among us.

“Gorgeous setting, amazing hot tub!”

My sister hired out all 4 cabins for friends and family to stay over the weekend of her wedding in Priston. The location was perfect for this. The cabins were immaculate (until 7 bridesmaids and a bride had got ready for a wedding!) and very comfortable, with compact but well appointed kitchens. Daft things like providing a few dishwasher tablets and spare bin bags (we never thought to pick these up en route!) Plenty of info in each lodge about the local amenities. The hot tub between the 2 bigger lodges was lovely, unfortunately I didn't get chance to use the swimming pool but looked a good size. There was enough outside space for us all to eat dinner together on the first night and plenty of fridge and freezer space!

The hosts were very welcoming. The free wifi was a lifesaver when trying to contact other guests as there was no mobile phone signal!

All in all a fantastic weekend made easier by fantastic accommodation. Thanks again!!

“SUPERIOR HOLIDAY ACCOMODATION WITH DISTINCTION”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 3 September 2013 for a stay in August 2013

A beautiful spot to enjoy a relaxing break with accommodation and facilities that really make the extra difference to a holiday. The heated pool and hot tub is a welcoming homecoming during your stay after a day out visiting the many places of interest including Longleat and Bath. Chris made us feel so welcome and nothing was too much trouble - even helping with the AA man! (thank you Carol too) He has done an excellent job in building and setting up Purbeck he should be very proud of what he has achieved. My only worry is that it is so good we will struggle to get in again due to popularity and such good reviews all round. Many Thanks and we will return!

“A great place to stay - for Bath visiting and for itself”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 2 August 2013 for a stay in July 2013

We had a lovely time here with 3 adults and 3 kids. The pool was great plus the playground. Our girls were given the fantastic opportunity to groom the two little ponies. The cabins were beautifully appointed with attention to every detail.
Chris was a great host who took the time to show you around and explain things but also to have a chat. You could easily stay here for a while and just do walks and relax without even the lure of Bath. Access to Bath was by driving to a nearby park and ride to take a bus direct to town centre.
The area here is just beautiful with narrow lanes through densely wooded areas. We repeatedly walked through the revegetated area the locals had created atop the old Camerton Batch mine slag heap to enjoy the atmosphere and even ran in to a local badger.
When our kids are asked what was their favourite UK stay they always refer to Purbeck.
