“A nice little find”
Reviewed 23 February 2014

From the moment we stepped through the door we were made to feel very welcome,we stayed in room 6 it had a lovely view over the hills. It was a lovely large room, everything you needed including a little chest with little extras which was a lovely touch, a tea tray and fresh milk was also on offer. The breakfast was excellent and a very good choice, lovely fresh fruit salad( not tinned)a lovely selection for the cooked option also.
A very informative host ( Colin) , giving us the best deals on offer..
We enjoyed a leisurely stroll to the centre it took us about 35 mins, but I believe there is a very good bus service on offer. We would definitely return
THANKYOU to you both .

Room Tip: We had room 6 very comfortable

The owners were very welcoming and friendly, the room was superb and the bed large and comfortable. The breakfast was excellent too. The only downside was car parking; although there is parking at the property the entrance was too narrow for my SUV and there was no room to turn a large car in the car park. I parked on the road but twice I had to wait until a space was vacated. That aside, I can't recommend Cranleigh highly enough.

Room Tip: I paid extra fr a four poster room. The room was spacious and the view excellent; ell worth th extra...

Beautiful rooms with numerous extra touches. Very warm welcome, loads of useful directions and delicious breakfast! Easy walk into city centre, on bus route but excellent taxi service very reasonable.

Room Tip: Rooms 4 and 6 great views.

The room was clean and the attention to detail was very good. The en-suite was a little small but everything was available in the room , from a useful forgotten toothbrush to a corkscrew !! The breakfast was enjoyable and my partner even managed the whole bowl of porridge and boy it was a large one !!
We have only one small comment , the room although outstanding was just a little too warm for us, others may enjoy that !! So this is just a personal choice.

Stayed for one night whilst visiting the beautiful city of Bath. Staff were very welcoming and made us feel at home straight away. The room we had (No 8) was very well equipped and very clean, could hardly fault it. Only minor point was the shower wasn't the best in the world and part of the shower rail appeared to be held up by sellotape. Other than that it was great. Breakfast in the morning was good and served by very polite staff. All in all a wonderful short stay.

We stayed overnight at Cranleigh after a long drive from Cornwall on a very stormy day. We received a very warm welcome and our room was lovely, with everything that you could possibly need!! Breakfast the following day was great with a large choice for every taste.Cranleigh was cosy, comfortable and immaculately clean! Perfect!! We shall return.
