Our stay at the Marlborough House was my first B&B experience. It was wonderful and I’m going to have to do this more often.
Peter was ever so helpful, from the moment of first inquiry to our departure. We stayed in the Floral Room, located at the very top, and had an en-suite bath. The Wi-Fi isn’t good from there but much better as you go down stairs. Amenities were great and we enjoyed coffee, tea, and hot cocoa in our room everyday.
Breakfast was wonderful and his staff - Lily, Sarah, and I forget sorry - were helpful and made me and the kids at home.
Location is great, considering everything is walking distance in Bath. We had a very late dinner at Carluccio’s and walked back around 10:30PM. I was not worried at all. Also, I liked the location because there’s a park nearby for my son and Tesco just past it. If you have young kids, mine’s 12, Victoria Park has awesome play structures.
Anyway, we really liked it and my skeptical son (thinks its strange) would like a repeat, too!
