“Nice hotel parking is hassle”
Reviewed 14 October 2013 via mobile

The hotel is quite small, I would describe my room as an attic and was also pretty small. The decor was very nice and very modern, so pretty good quality accommodation. Not much you can do to change the size of a property as it is a bath city centre hotel, and good location to see the nightlife. As mentioned by others the parking is tricky and if you are driving I would not recommend. The parking allocated is in a public car park and was almost full when I stayed, the space left was small and because the bottom of the slope muddy when I got out. Plus you have to find the hotel, then leave your car on a very narrow road outside, then you get a pass from reception to put in the window, then you drive and park which is some distance away, then you walk back to the hotel. When you leave you need to walk to your car, then drive to the hotel to hand in the pass. All a bit too much hassle. In summary good location, nice decor, nice breakfast although cooked not included in rate, small, don't drive there.

Dear Guest, thank you for your feedback on your recent stay with us at Harington's. I was happy to see that you were happy with everything overall. The room you stayed in was one of our standard double rooms which are located on the third floor in the eves of the house and have sloping ceilings. If any guest prefers a larger room can I suggest a Superior or Feature double.

Parking unfortunately is a issue for everyone in Bath. We offer reserved off-site parking in a near by car park which is chargeable at £11.00 per day (payable at the hotel). Our parking arrangements will however give you a GAURANTEED parking space which is not something that can be taken for granted in bath. I can only think of one other city centre hotel that has parking onsite and they only have 8 spaces for 120 bedrooms! Most hotels in the city centre will just tell their customers to find a space in a local car park which for anyone who is used to parking in bath will understand how difficult this can be at times. Here at Harington's we try and make a special effort by having dedicated spaces available for our customers. So if you are travelling by car to us book a space with us when you are making you booking. This will ensure you have a space waiting for you.

Our brilliant central location means once you have parked your car you can walk where ever you want in the city. Alternatively we are only a 10 minute walk or so away from Bath Spa railway station if you wish to come by train. Many Thanks and we look forward to welcoming you to Harington's again soon.

I staied over at Harrington's over a weekend and it was one of the most pleasurable weekends myself and my partner ever had.

We were offered the feature queen double room which was the most beautiful exquisite room ever seen. There are little details everywhere and the room is plit acroos 2 floors. The room was extremely romantic and piecefull. We also used the jacuzzi service with champagne bottle of the hotel and again every little detail was wonderful well planned.

5 stars to Julian and Harriet, excellent customer service and lovely people. They made our weekend in Bath absolutely remarkable. We will definitely come back again next year!!

Room Tip: You can't go wrong with any option. The hotel is magnificient!

Staff were really helpful and friendly. Plus, the Rooms were really nicely decorated and felt like they came out of a magazine. Easy walk to great pubs, shops, roman baths and other sights. Great breakfasts! Would recommend - very lovely, small hotel so you get the local feel.

I spent two nights at the hotel in September 2013. Located in an old townhouse in a narrow street in Bath, our hotel room and bathroom were small but clean, well furnished and had everything we needed. A good range of cold breakfast options were provided and the cooked breakfast was excellent. The hotel was efficiently run by a small group of young, cheerful staff. The hotel's central location was very convenient for reaching all the sights on foot. However, on a warm, still Saturday night when we needed to keep the window open, its proximity to pubs and clubs proved to be a disadvantage as a continuous stream of drunk and rowdy people passing by meant we had a very disturbed night. The Sunday night however was blissfully quiet.

Hotel is in great location, walking distance from all attractions, restaurants, pubs and the station. We would definitely stay here again.

Stayed in this hotel for one night earlier this week. The hotel has a great location, within walking distance of main attractions in Bath. Lovely room, it was split across two levels (bedroom/shower on first floor, toilet on second floor) which was a bit strange but not necessarily bad! Espresso machine in room was an added bonus.

Best thing was using the hot tub! Use the voucher currently available on trip advisor for free use. It was private and the water was lovely and warm! Definitely recommend.

Parking is not ideal, a short walk away, which I don't think was that clear when booking. Not really a problem for us as we were only staying for one night but if you had a lot of luggage, you might want to drop it off so you don't have to carry it from the car park.

Had a meal in the evening at Sotto Sotto - fantastic restaurant!

Overall, a really enjoyable experience and would not hesitate to stay again (and use the hot tub again!)
