We arrived home last night from a brilliant weekend in Bath for my best friends Hen.
We arrived on Friday, early afternoon and let ourselves into the house, within a few minutes Robert greeted us and went over a few things regarding the property. Very friendly guy, really helpful. Property was very clean and organised.
The whole party loved the house. It's light and airy and has plenty of space. Friday evening I cooked for the group, kitchen is large and brilliantly equipped with everything you could possibly need to prepare a meal.
The house is within walking distance to the centre of Bath, the location was perfect for us.
Our party was 9 women and getting ready, as you can imagine, is chaos. Each bedroom in Marmaduke has its own bathroom which made life so much easier!! Just a little recommendation for some of the bathrooms with electric showers, would be great if they were updated with something a little more powerful for those of us with thick long hair, just took a little longer but that was no biggy really!
I booked the house through Alexa at Bath Holiday Rentals and the communication over the last few months has been exceptional. Many thanks for the goodies in the kitchen! Whenever I visit Bath again, I'll be sure to book through Bath Holiday Rentals.
Stayed here recently with 10 friends for a 30th Birthday. The place is really nice and huge with five big bedrooms. Its only a short walk into the center of Bath so was excellent for us. The kitchen is fully equiped and there is enough room for ten people in the dining room.
Have just spent a most amazing long weekend in Bath with friends (8 adults). The house is perfect for a large groups of friends or family wishing to stay together. We all had our own bathroom which was a plus point. The house is fitted out well with everything you need to make it feel home from home. We didn't actually cook as there are so many great places to eat in Bath, however if you wanted to, the kitchen has it all.
The house is just a few minutes stroll away from the centre of Bath so we didn't have to drive all weekend (free parking provided at the property). We had a very busy weekend including Theatre Royal, Comedy Club, golf, visit to the Glass blowing factory, ladies out to lunch. There are numerous good restaurants/pubs to choose from including Salamander, The Griffin and The King William. The shopping was endless, so much so we didn't get to do the touristy bits, however we are planning on returning next year to tick these boxes!
